Layla was at home , Diego
her cousin didn’t come back from the party yet and was about 7:30am. She got up
and went to clean everything , because his apartment were very dirty but before
cleaning she decided to eat something. Layla got eggs , bacon , bread and
orange juice , her favorite. When she put bacon in her mouth , straight away
she started to get sick , she ran to the bathroom and started to throw up a
lot….
She got desperate , because
this time was different , was stronger , Layla got scared and after a while she
got up and went to her room get the phone to call someone to help her and take
her to hospital, Layla was feeling as if she was going to die…
-Hello?
-Lily?
-Layla heeeeey girl , what’s up? – she asked
-Lily , I’m feeling so sick can you come here?
-Oh sure I’m coming…- Lily said – are you really sick?
-Yes , I’m scared , I think is a viruses- she said
-Want me to call Adrian?

-Ok , what is the address? Nathan told me you living at your cousins

Lily got a taxi and went to
see Layla. She got really worried of course , Layla never called her to say she
was that sick. The taxi was really fast and she was at Layla in 20 minutes.
Lily went to Layla house.
She opened the door and came in without knocking
-Layla? Layla?- she shouted
-Over here – Layla shouted
Lily went to the bathroom
and Layla was laid on floor , weak.
-Layla….aww darling what’s
wrong with you? – Lily asked
-I don’t know but I want to
go to the hospital – she said
-Sure , I will take you ,
but listen ,I was thinking , since when are sick?
-I don’t know , I think
almost a month or two– she said

buy you a pregnancy test- Lily said
Lily went to the pharmacy
to buy the test. Layla stayed at home , thinking about what Lily said ,
everything made sense now , the dizziness, headache, vomiting ,
everything……Layla got scared
Lily never took long time
to come back….
-Layla , here is the test ,
do it…- Lily said and gave her the box
-Hmm I’m not pregnant , I
don’t believe it – she said
-Do it, it’s the only way
to know - Lily said
-Ok…I will – Layla got the
test and went to the bathroom.
Lily thought about calling
me but she couldn’t do that , wasn’t right.
Layla did the test and came
back to see Lily
-Lily….i did the test….-
Layla said
-And??? What the result is ?
-Hmmm – Layla looked at her
-Tell me Layla….Tell me…….are
you pregnant????- Lily was so curious

, I’m so nervous – Layla said shaking
-Ok I will , let’s go to
the bathroom- Lily said
Lily held Layla hand and
they both went to the bathroom.
Before Lily look at the
test to see what would be the result she said:

if it’s positive I’m going to…support you

the result-
-Hmm Ok…..Its Negative - Lily said straight away and looked at Layla
-What? – Layla asked

repeated
-Huh? – Layla got surprised
- Oh there you go….ahhh….. that’s great really that’s really great news , ahh –
she got a deep breath - because you know this whole thing…..nothing ready and
financial problems ,I don’t have a job, this is so just the way things was suppose to
be – she started to cry
-I guess so – Lily said
-God I’m so stupid , how
can I be so sad over something I never had? It’s negative? – she asked again
-No , it’s positive – Lily
said

-Yeah I lied before – she
showed the test to Layla , was positive - Now you know how you really feel
about it – she said laughing

risky game – Layla laughed too and they hugged eachother. Lily looked at Layla
and asked

-Yeh …… i’m gonna have baby ….i’m gonna have a baby –Layla got so
happy, they hugged again tight and they
smiled
Before doing the test,
Layla was feeling scared , depressed and lost but now , knowing that she wasn’t
alone in this world, just made her
really happy. She was crying now , not of sadness but of happiness. Layla looked
in the mirror and put her top up and looked at her tummy and started to touch
and said:
-Hey baby…mammy loves you
already – Layla said
-Awwww this is soo cute , I
will get the phone and you will tell Adrian – Lily said
-No…I won’t tell Adrian ,
not now – Layla said

-But Lily , of course I’m
happy and I want to have this kid , even though I’m not ready ,I don’t have job
and all but really , I already feel love for this baby inside of me…but I don’t
know how Adrian would react , he probably would scream at me and blame me and
then runaway – Layla looked down and touched her tummy again

would love to know that you are pregnant – Lily said
-Noo he won’t be , I ruined
his life , like he wanna be doctor , this course is 6 years and he just started
, we can’t afford to have a baby right now..argh I hate myself
-Layla we only live once , I hate this sentence but

much , don’t be scared , you and Adrian love eachother for real , I think he is
the one for you , you guys love story made me jealous , because I never met
someone who could do what he did for you – Lily said

I was sat in the library during lunch, Layla always made me food but now
she never, i had to make myself and trust me wasn’t good at all. i was reading a
book , trying to look geek when I felt my phone vibrate. I looked and I
saw was Layla and I smiled straight away, my heart was beating fast , I was
thinking about her and she called me , what a coincidence
-Heyy babe- i said happily
-Hey Adrian , tonight can
you come here?- She said. I thought ahh she never even asked me how i was
-I don’t know the new girl
came today i said i would show her around-I said

phone down fast . i thought ‘wow weird’
Layla sat on her bed and started to cry
-Layla don’t cry this is beautiful- Lily smiled
-How come is beautiful? I ruined our life god – she said

-I hope so Lily , or I will rather die than live without him…- she said

I got another phone call , i thought was Layla again, but was my mom

When i tried to start study again my phone rang and i thought ‘ ahhhh ‘and

test in 2 days - i said, I wanted to see her but I couldn’t fail at uni , is my

Once again Layla was being weird , sometimes she get happy and sometimes
she want to kill me ahh . Tonight i will tell her everything that i think about
this, she is hurting me loads , i always think is my fault.
I decided to go home now and get my clothes and go to Layla’s new house.
I went to our house and Vanessa were there already
-Heey , you came back early uh - i said

Vanessa was really pretty , I wouldn’t ever imagine that she had an
online boyfriend , to be honest , people who date online are really brave , I
think they know what love means. It’s just the wind , you can’t see , you can’t touch , you can’t be close but you
can feel it that is there. Before when our grandparents met , things were
completely different and now I ask , who never had a crush who lived in the
other side of the world? Who never fell in love with someone who you could only
talk using computer or your phone?
Our planet has more than 7 billion people , sound immense , but when I
think about this planet , I imagine a little ball that compared to the Sun is nothing but compared to the moon our
planet is really huge , everything depends of the reference point. What I’m trying to say is , if you love
someone , doesn’t matter where they live , if they live in China ,Uk , Usa , Israel , Norway, South Africa , Bahrain , Brazil….what matters
is if you really love the person and if you do , the time , the distance , the
haters…nothing will break you guys apart….i really believe in love , what about
you?
After a couple of minutes , Lily left cause she had to go to the food shop and Diego and Mendes came back home
-Heyy Layla- Diego came and hit her head
-Uh hey where have yous been? – she asked
-Partyyingg all night babe- Mendes said
-'Babe'- Layla raised her eyebrow
-Yeahh was so good Layla you should of came- Diego said whilst eating an
apple

-Nahh he got kicked out of his house so he will sleep in living room the
sofa turns into a bed you will have best time of your life- he laughed
Then there was a knock at the door
-Oh I think it’s Adrian- Layla got up fast
-Adrian? - Mendes said …….‘ familiar name’ he thought
Mendes started to remember about what Victor said in jail ' i want
revenge , Layla and Adrian will pay...with their souls'…..Mendes finally
realized he was in the same house as Layla . The girl that Victor wanted to see
dead was her….
Layla opened the door to me. When she saw me she immediately hugged me
tight, i never got it why , i think she missed me loads
-Come on in Adrian - she said

-Ooooooo look who is here , how are you Adrian? –Diego asked me and we shake

Mendes keep staring at me and Layla and I noticed….i stared him back

smiled

Meanwhile Mendes and Diego were in his room. Diego’s room was huge and
they were playing on Xbox
-Diego how many boyfriends has Layla had- he asked

moving a lot to the game

-This guy called Victor, i don’t know why she broke he was cool. why you

Mendes went outside to go call the prison

They weren’t allowed to have a
phone inside the jail but people always helped putting a phone in the cake or spaghetti, they always
had a way to give people from jail what they wanted

little while. Layla stopped and ran out of the room and into bathroom

I followed her into bathroom and saw her being sick
-Damn I’m getting worried about you- i said

-I know why I’m getting sick – she said
-Why? Is bacteria? Any virus? I seriously think is virus , must be that

if I tell Adrian I will ruin his life , I bet he will drop uni just to stay
with me and the baby and also get a job , I feel so selfish ….i cant ruin his
life and destroy his dream of being a doctor , God , what should i do?’
-Layla? Layla? Are you ok? – I asked worried , she weren’t talking much

We Both were sat on the cold floor of that bathroom , hugging eachother
, I never knew why but I started to cry when I heard Layla crying , I never
knew why she was crying that much but she was desperate , she was really
desperate….
-Layla- I looked at her and
touched her hair – what’s going on? I know something is wrong, I can feel it,
you acting different and I’m worried- I said
-I know….- the tears never

this because I knew Layla loved when we talked about our future , we did that
many times before –and then we can marry on the beach and we get band to sing
in our wedding uh? And then we will have our honeymoon in Hawaii or Cyprus or
Greece – I laughed saying that. Layla was laying on my chest – and then when we
be tired of enjoy eachother we can have kids and be a beautiful family , what do
you think of my idea? Think about that makes you feel better? – I smiled
She never said anything ,
she just looked at me and smiled too.
That night was pretty crazy
, because Layla felt sick and then she got weird and quiet , I think I said
something wrong , now she was acting different….
-Adrian , we being here for
almost a hour , we should go to bed – she said

grabbed her in my arms and I took her to bed
I put her on bed and never
took a long time , Layla slept. I stayed up all night because I couldn’t sleep
, I watched her sleeping , I was scared she would feel sick and something bad would
happen. I laid next to her and I kissed her cheek.
I don’t remember anything
else after 5:00am which was the last time that I looked at the clock. I fell
asleep too.
Next morning I woke up and
Layla was still sleeping. I got up and went to the bathroom to wash my face and
brush my teeth but someone else was using the bathroom so I had to wait.

a long time there uh? – Mendes said

At our house , Vanessa woke
up early and did the breakfast. Paula and Nathan never saw her before , because
they both were really busy with uni. Paula never slept at home that night and
Nathan was really tired , he is doing many auditions to get parts in television
and cinema , of course that Nathan is too young , he just started uni , but the course that he
is actually doing only take 2 years ,
soon he will finish university and be an actor which is his dream.
Nathan went downstairs,
because he heard noises coming from the kitchen and he decided to check out. He
thought ‘ I bet Adrian is doing breakfast and is failing…haha I will help my
friend’ but before that he went to take shower and he saw that someone forgot
her underwear in the shower and Nathan hated when this happened , he started to
talk with himself

I’m worried about her , that guy called Mendes is there, he is weird and
she got sick again last night
I never slept the whole night , I think I slept only an hour…I’m

got really excited about Mendes meeting Layla , everything would be more easy ,
in the jail he met many people , many mean and dangerous guys. Victor got new
friends and one of them was called Callum

Victor had time enough in
the jail to plan everything that he wanted to do to me , Layla and Felix but
now things would change , his judgment would be in a few days , Victor will be
judged for the crimes that he committed and I really hope that the justice can
work with him . The only thing that I’m afraid is that he will be free , If
Victor be free I’m sure he will kill us…
I went to the uni and I met
Nathan in the corridor, he was talking with 2 pretty girls

Well that same day Chloe
went to the jail to see Victor . They were together now. Chloe really changed ,
before she was friends with everybody
now she is part of a group called White Blood. This group is gang and their
leader is Victor. He had the idea about doing a group because was the only way
that he could do anything outside without being outside , his followers would
help him and one of those followers was Mendes. Victor wasn’t dumb , he knew
how to control many people and he was doing that with Chloe. Today was the visit
day ,and as every week Chloe leave everything only to go see Victor.

scared , things in my life are happening too fast , I remember about when I was
kid and I was playing football with my friends and protecting Nathan of the
people who bullied him . I remember when John born , my little brother….i don’t

When we are kids we never get worried or nervous about anything , the sky is
the limit. We just worry about to watch cartoons , eat candy and play with
friends and sleep. Now I worry about so many things , I worry about my own
life…..
I always think that I need
to enjoy life as the best as I can because life is too short and as people say
you only live once but at the same time I ask myself , what really matters in
life? What is really important to us? Like why be mean if you can be good? Why
tell someone stop dreaming if you can be the reason why they are dreaming? Why
bully someone if you can encourage them and make them really happy? That is
important in life ….
After Lily’s lesson , she
went to see Layla. Mendes was still there.

Nathan got a bus to a close
town called New Land . Nathan was
invited to do a audition about a part on TV but this show would be filmed in Hollywood.
Nathan’s teacher told him to try it but he never had faith that he would get the part but he tried , was the third time
that Nathan did an audition and this time he was more ready than ever. He never
told anyone about this test ,he wanted to keep the secret till the results.
Nathan was wearing a yellow
jeans , red t-shirt and white cap. He really wanted to everybody look at him ,
he wanted attention and he got it. Everybody was looking at him and talking ,
Nathan never cared , he walked into that place as if he was a top model walking
in the most famous catwalk of the world.
Nathan waited about 15
minutes till his turn. He wasn’t nervous at all , because he never wanted the
part anwyays , he was only there to try to have fun and see new people.

He went to the room and had

got dizzy. Nathan thought that he would do great only reading that piece of
paper but no, he got too nervous…..Then all of suddenly Nathan had an idea. Nathan
threw the paper on floor and thought ‘ ITS SHOW TIME’
Nathan stopped to read the
real lines and he started to make a new dialogue about the character. The
directors never got a thing and started to look at eachother although Lady
Fleur couldn’t take her eyes of him

Nathan got sad , because he
just wanted to do something different but he realized that wasn’t good enough ,
he was too young and for sure other opportunities would come for him.
Now was already afternoon ,
I was soo tired that I was sleeping in the class. Our teacher turned off the
lights and now he put it a movie about how the cells walk in our body , blood
cells and the other things like virus , bacteria’s , I loved the subject but I
never slept at night , I just wanted my bed. Was when I thought about closing
my eyes for 2 minutes , to rest , no one would notice , many people were doing
that.
I closed my eyes and
straight away I slept and started to dream. I don’t remember much but all I
remember was about being lost in the middle of no where , I was in the ocean
and I remember that I was on a boat and that boat hit an iceberg. I swam and swam
but I couldn’t find any help , was when I saw another boat and was coming in my
direction . I waved and screamed and they saw me. I thought ‘ God thank you ,
someone found me’ . The boat got closer to me and they stopped ,I was waiting
they send the buoy so I could be saved but no one did. Then I heard voices
coming from the boat and then I saw who it was talking…. was Victor…..

Layla being sick over weeks , she don’t have a job , she don’t go to uni…..oh
my god , why can’t you realize this girl is suffering more than you? Stop to
look at yourself and look at her

you will support her , say you will be there Adrian….i know you wont leave her

-GO NOW- Nathan was being
bossy and I did what he said
I went to Layla’s room ,
but I never knew what to say to her. I felt lost.I opened her door room and she
was there on bed. When Layla saw me she smiled big
-Adrian! – she said
-Hey Babe – I came closer
and I kissed her hand – you made me so scared , I thought I was going to loose
you
-Aww I won’t leave you
stupid – she said
-You aren’t eating that
well uh? – I said
-No….i’m just too stressed-
she said
-With what?- I asked
-Things….- she said
-Layla…- I touched her
tummy – I already know
-About? – She asked that as
if she never got it , but she knew about what I was talking about.
I got a deep breath and
said
-I already know about the
baby – I said serious. Layla got shocked – I already know about our baby
-Adrian…..i’m sorry – she
said – I never wanted this to happen to us , I’m so sorry…..- Layla started to
cry
-Shhhhhh – I held her hand
– Layla , I love you- I touched her hair and then I kissed her lips and she
kissed me back. Then I put her top up and I pat her tummy and I said
-Hey you….- I said - I love
you too my little baby – I kissed Layla tummy and then I laid my head on her
tummy
We stayed like that over a
couple of minutes , without saying a word. Layla started to touch my hair and
she was just glad that I never got mad at her…
Layla and I weren’t only
lovers…….Now Layla and I were a real family……
