After a couple of hours
Layla and I were finally infront of her parents house , I will confess ,
I was extremely nervous , I had a feeling something could go wrong , for the
obvious reason , my nerdness. I wasn’t the typical hot guy who would get all the
girls , I was probably the one who girls wouldn’t ever look at me more than a
friend , so I consider myself lucky for having Layla by my side. Her dad ,
sound awesome , he might like me but I’m only worried about mother , people
always say mothers in law are like devil , should I really get worried or not?
Layla pressed the ring , she was holding my hand and smiling at me
-I love you – she whispered
-I love You too – I bite my lips
-Your hands are cold and wet stupid –
-Yours too – I smiled. When I said that someone opened the door and I
was glad was her dad
-Layla- he hugged her tight
-Dad , I missed you so much – Layla said while hugging her
-And now you are here , at home , come on in Adrian – we shaked hands
-Hello Mr Grey- I said
-No no no no no , don’t call Mr Grey , only my employers call me that
haha , can call me Dave uh? – he pat my back
-Ok , Dave – I smiled
-Mmmmmm this smell….- Layla said – it is what I’m thinking?
-Is haha – her dad said
-SPAGUETTI!!!!! – she was really happy – I love Spaghetti I just love it
-Great , your mom is getting ready
-Oh ok – Layla said
-I think more people will come to see you Layla , your mother invited
many people including Juan.- Her dad said
-Juan?
-Yeah , he is Barbara’s son – Her dad said
I could be stupid , but why when her dad said the name ‘ Juan’ I started
to shake? I wanted to be wrong , but deep inside of me , I already knew why she
invited him , she wanted Juan to be with Layla…
He took us to the living room and then there was a guy who when saw us ,
got up straight away…
-Layla , Adrian…… Meet Juan….Barbara son – her dad said
When Juan saw Layla was like he got shocked , he started to smile at her
and she did the same.
-Hola Layla , bienvenido–Juan said
-Huh?- Layla laughed
-Welcome , your mother and father told me a lot about you – he went
closer and looked into her eyes
-Oh really? What they said? – Layla looked at her dad
-Nothing much , I just …..didn’t expect you would be soo beautiful
-Awww thanks – she said –or like your guys say here , Gracias
-Yes yes exactly - Juan said and
kissed her hand – I bet we will have a beautiful friendship
I watched everything as if was a movie , I wasn’t included , I got mad
at that boy , he was flirting with Layla infront of me….i started to hate myself
, why this was happening again? Juan , was about 21 years old , tall , tanned ,
green eyes , straight hair , he was wearing black jeans and a white top and
tie….he was too good looking , probably the most handsome guy I ever saw…
-So let’s get something to eat…I’m starving…- Layla said
-Same haha lets go –
Layla looked at me and said
-Don’t worry Adrian , I will get something for you , sit on sofa with my
dad , be right back – Layla went to the kitchen with Juan
Was really awkward , like I don’t what just happened but was too fast ,
like I didn’t know what to say , I got shocked , Layla acted as if I wasn’t
there….
-So hows you kid
-Oh I’m fine you Dave?
-I’m great , I’m happy Layla is here , thanks
-For?
-I think if you never came, she wouldn’t ever come live with us
-Nah , silly – I smiled

But Layla’s mom came to the living room and I felt my spine freeze…..
-Hello Adrian…- her mom said

-I’m amazing hahahahaha – her laugh sounded evil
-Good.- I was soo scared
-Dinner will be ready in a few minutes…..are you hungry?

-Good…be right back – she left to the kitchen
Why I had the feeling that night would end bad?
Layla’s mom went to the kitchen and saw Juan and Layla talking
-I will for sure add you on Facebook haha – Layla said
-Aw will be amazing , then we can talk all the time

-Heeeeeeeey kids – Mary said – sorry to interrupt you guys , but I knew

back to the living room and Mary took the opportunity to talk to Juan

-Oh really – Juan bite his lips – I think me and your daughter will have

Layla came to the living room , I was sat on the sofa with crossed arms
, thinking about ‘ what the hell I’m doing here?’ . Layla sat next to me and
gave me a plate of many snacks
-I made for you – she kissed my cheek – and also got spriteeeee
-Thanks babe – I said – you are an angel
-Aww you too , soo having fun guys?
-Not really Layla , I feel like breaking TV
-Hahaha why dad?
-This team SUCKS- her dad said mad
-I agree-
-I made a bet , high bet and I’m going to loose , unbelievable
-Aww dad calm down, watch our your high pressure…..- Layla said while
touching my ear , I loved it , was so relaxing
-Layla daughter can you come here for a minute?
-Sure mam , hey dad where is the girls?
-Yours sisters are at the club, they will be here in ay minute…go talk
to your mother
-Will do…be right back babe – she poked my nose and left
I was bored , I couldn’t wait to go home , Layla’s dad was awesome but I
wanted to spend time with Layla , only her….but of course , I couldn’t be
selfish , I had to be nice and let Layla spend time with her family too….i
tried to calm down and relax, the night was only starting….
-Layla….could you get me the broom outside? – her mother asked
-Sure mam – Layla went outside and Juan was already hide
When Layla went to the garden , Juan grabbed her hand and said:
-Hey Pretty girl –
-What you doing here in the dark?
-Waiting for you – he said smiling big
-Why? – Layla asked
-Because…..i think you look sad , you should see the real Spain , the
Spain the tourists doesn’t know….come…come with me…..you deserve to have fun ,
at least one time in your life…- he winked
-What the hell you mean?
Meanwhilee
Layla’s mother came to the living room and said :
-Adrian , could you help me with the table?
-Sure Mrs. Grey , sure – I said and got up. When she invited me to help
her I thought ‘ Yeyeyeye she is being nice , I think she likes me now so why
not help her?’
I went to the kitchen and then she said:
-Instead of helping with the table , could please you get me the broom
outside ? – she asked me
-Sure , I will go
-It’s in the garden Adrian…- she said
-Ok – I smiled. I was so happy , because I was helping my future mother
in law. I went to the garden.
Layla was outside already , but I didn’t knew, I was wondering where she
was…
Juan got closer of her and said:
-Your deserve to have fun Layla….and I will show you how - Juan started
to kiss Layla lips…and I watched everything….
It was like my heart was breaking into a thousand pieces, I could not
believe that once again everything was being ruined in front of me. I could go
to near them and prevent their lips to touch again but what’s the point? I felt
weak and disappointed .... I decided to turn my back and walk away
Layla’s mother looked at me and said:
-What wrong?
-Nothing….i need fresh air , excuse me- I walked fast , her mother
smiled as the mission was accomplished and I noticed.
When I walked in the living room , Layla’s dad talked to me
-Hey kid , where you going?
-I need to go Dave , thanks for everything – I shake his hand- tell
Layla thanks for everything
-Huh? What going on?
I ignored what he said and opened the door and ran away , I couldn’t
stay there another minute , I was feeling suffocated. I didn’t know if I should
cry , scream or anything , like I’m just tired of suffering , its been so many
years , I tried to fight for this love for so many times …..i cant cope no
more…..i decided to go to the hotel and pack , I should come back home and
forget Layla…
Was pretty dark outside and I tried to find a taxi. I walked and walked
and I found the beach. Was a beautiful night and I love the ocean so I thought
with myself ‘ Why not walk on the beach?’
I took of my shoes and started to walk on the cold sand. I looked at the
sky and I started to admire every single star that I could see it….the moon was
bright and somehow when I looked at the ocean was like the full moon was
touching the water , such beautiful scene….that’s all I needed , stay alone ,
away from everyone and everything.
I think I’m mature enough to decide what I want and I won’t stay here
for Layla anymore……
Meanwhileeee in the garden
Juan kissed Layla lips but she stopped him…
-God , stop….- Layla said trying to clean her lips – what did you kissed
me?
-Well you single and I thought we got a connection…
-What? Singleee? Connection? Are you high?
-Haha no?
-Boy , I’m taken , that boy you saw is my boyfriend – Layla said
-Really? He is so…..so

-So geek…he isn’t good enough for you – Juan said
-Shut up , I love that guy…..he is amazing by the way I will stay with
him in the living room and please don’t talk to me – Layla left Juan alone in
the garden
She opened the kitchen door fast , she was furious at Juan , he didn’t
had rights to kiss like that.
-Layla , daughter what happened?
-Nothing mother , where is Adrian?
-He left- her mom said
-What? Why?
-I don’t know Layla….he went to the garden and then….
-Garden? Oh my God….
-What darling?
-I cant believe , God – Layla put her hand on her head – it seems a
nightmare
-You don’t believe me? Ask your dad – her mom tried to sound innocent
-DAD- Layla shouted and went to the living room
-Yes Layla?
-Where is Adrian?
-I don’t know….he said to tell you thanks….
-Thanks? Dad…..i have a bad feeling I lost my Adrian again….i can’t
believe it….
-Why? What happened?
-Juan kissed me and I’m afraid Adrian saw …..i need to find him – Layla
ran away , she went after me
Layla got desperate , because it seems we got a crazy love story ,
sometimes things are heaven , sometimes is pure hell…..She knew I would of get really sad but who wouldn’t
?Layla ran in the hotel direction , was the only place that she could find me….

At the prison….
Victor were sat reading a book that he got from another prisoner. This
book became his best friend , was the only contact from the real world that he
could have. He couldn’t stop reading because somehow , he was learning a lot.
Since Victor got in jail , all his hopes were gone , he wouldn’t be free
for many years , he thinks about that all the time. It’s like the clock don’t
even move….he is stuck in the time but now Victor is learning one thing : we are
humans beings and we will do mistakes even if we don’t want to. You and me
aren’t perfect but we try and that’s the secret . You can do mistakes , who
doesn’t? But if recognize your mistake and change , then you learned the
lesson…..Victor learned his lesson , he decided to be a new person , a new guy
, someone who wouldn’t hurt anyone or wants revenge…its hard to believe someone
so cruel can be nice , but nothing is impossible to the person who has a faith
inside of his heart…..

a pen , they can have this in prison and he started to write a letter:

Layla went after me , she went by walking , she didn’t had any money to
pay taxi or even bus which wouldn’t be a problem since the hotel were about 10
minutes away from her parent’s house.
I was still at the beach , sat on the sand just looking to the ocean. I
think its fascinating , I could stay there for hours staring the water and
never get tired.
I decided to go back to the hotel and start packing , I wouldn’t stay
there another day , I wouldn’t….When I got up and started to walk I heard
someone shouting my name and I knew exactly who was…but when I turned around I
didn’t see anyone , I got scared…. I decided to go back to the hotel.
When I was walking in the corridor I found Nathan
-Hey Nathan – I said
-Heey Adriaaaan……I’m sooo sososososososo happy – he said
-Why? – I raised my eyebrow
-Pablooooo , he will rent an airplane for us and he will take me to
DISNEYLAND wanna come?
-Dude and Lily?
-Lily Lily Lily…you just talk about her dudeeeee – Nathan said
-Well , maybe because I care about her…
-Anyways where is mah Layla? – he asked
-Well , Layla and I broke up
-I know , she told….she came here to get alllllll her clothes – Nathan
said
-Are you serious?
-Wow….i had hopes we would get back together…- I said
-She was all crying. She-she said you guys want
different things, and that and that she needed time to think.- Nathan said
- Well why didn’t you stop her?! You know I can’t live without
Layla, Nathan – I said
-I-I did! I told her everything, Adrian! But she
wouldn’t believe me.- He looked down – I’m sorry
-Well where… Where did she go? – I asked
-To her parent’s I think and she said you shouldn’t call her. But if I
were you I would.- Nathan said
-I can’t believe I ruined this. I could of believed
her…. I could of gave her another chance….but I never…God I’m an idiot , I hate
myself…
- I am so sorry man.- Nathan said
I walked dejectedly into my bedroom to find it lit with about a thousand
candles and Layla standing in the living room.
- Adrian…
I turned to look at Nathan who smiles slyly and closes the door leaving
us alone
-Oh my God. – I said and walk to her
-I was waiting for you Adrian….i came here to take a decision….and say
sorry , sorry for hurting you , for making you sad….i’m sorry for everything –
she started to cry – you are like my everything and I would be lost without
you….i know I don’t deserve your love and for sure if you weren’t so kind and
sweet as you are you wouldn’t bother with me no more… - Layla was being so
honest about her feelings , she was making me cry – that’s why I want to do
this…..
Layla gets down on one knee
-Adrian… In all my life… I never thought I would be so lucky. – She
started to cry- As to…fall in love with my best…my best… - she couldn’t finish
the sentence -
-Okay! –I joins her on one knee-Layla….i think I
already know what you want to say and to be honest , I want the same
thing….
-Ok , now be less hard haha– she said holding my hand – I know girls
don’t do this but I must to show you how much I love you….so I thought that it
mattered what I said or where I said it. Then I realized the only thing that matters
is that you, ……..you make me happier than I ever thought I could be. And if
you’ll let me, I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you feel the
same way. Adrian, will you marry me?
-Yes , yes I will marry you Layla – I said that with a big
smile on my face and we started to kiss and hug eachother
Nathan were Yelling through the door
- Can i come it yet?! I’m dying out here! – he was being nosey
-Come in! Come in –Layla say and Nathan burst through the door -We’re
engaged!!! – Layla say out loud and hug

-WHOOPPPPP WE ARE THE CHAMPION MY FRIEND CONGRAAAAATTTSSS , I will be
the priest eyyeyeyeye – Nathan said
-Calm down yourself haha I don’t know when we are going to marry – I
said laughing
-And if be in 6 months? – Layla asked me
-6 months? Are you sure?
-If depended of me , I would marry you right now
-Uhuhuhuh she wants you RAWR – Nathan started to laugh – I will leave
you two alone , have fun guys – Nathan left us

AFTER 6 MONTHS….
Today was the big day of my life , we been waiting for this over 6
months , the day that Layla and I would get married. We didn’t invited many
people but the most close friends would be there , Lily , Ashton , Edward ,
Amanda , my family her family and many others….. Nathan insisted and made us
allow him to celebrate our wedding , he got the rights to celebrate our wedding
on the internet and to be honest , I loved the idea , he was part of my history
and of course I wouldn’t ever forget about the times he supported me about
Layla.
I was already at church , waiting for Layla , the church was small so
was pretty full , many people which I never saw in my life were there too ,
probably Layla friends but while I was on the altar I noticed someone was sat
in the middle of everyone staring at me. This person got up and came in my

I learned one thing in my life , we will always have enemies, it’s not
everyone who is going to feel love about you but the secret of life is only one
, forgiveness . When I forgave Victor I felt more happy with myself no point of hating someone
forever , this will only make things worse…I was happy that he could come to my
wedding because now he wasn’t my enemy , he was my friend….
Nathan was on the altar with me and he asked me

beautiful and white wedding dress , she looked soo beautiful , I was
amazed….she was like a princess….when I looked at her I started to smile and I
couldn’t stop , my dream was coming true….She walked in the church next to her
father. They walked slow , no need to rush , we had all the time of the world
but I couldn’t wait no more , I was anxious…
Now , Layla and I were looking at eachother and her dad shook my hand
-She is all yours Adrian , take care of my daughter – he said with a big
smile on his face
-I will – Now I looked at Layla and kissed her forehead. We both looked

my soul mate. Then about a couple of years ago I met someone sweet , gently ,
who only wanted to make me happy….someone who would even die for me and I never

for my whole life. And now…here we are…with our future before us…and I only

thought this was going to be the most difficult thing I ever had to do. But
when I saw you walking down that aisle I realized how simple it was. I love
