Now i decided to get up, i went to the bathroom feeling like a zombie,
brushed my teeth and started to get ready, I never looked at Nathan bed to see
if he was still sleeping or not , so i went to Layla’s room to wake her up
because i knew she wasn’t awake yet but she wasn’t there so I
called her
-Layla?
-Yeah…..
– She was short already , that’s weird I thought
-Where
are you? – I asked
-Hospital…..
– she said

my God , why? – my heart beat fast

called me and told me his diagnose Adrian – she sounded worried

happened , he forgot everything that happened in the passed 2 years….

I thought about hanging up the phone
but then I would be rude to Layla and I knew that I shouldn’t but at the same
time i couldn’t believe Layla did that to me , how can Layla help Victor after
everything that he done to us? Argh this isnt right but I guess maybe is the
right thing to do , I know many people wouldn’t ever help me if I needed it , but maybe would be good if I
was different , if I did the good thing to someone who might don’t deserve it
;so what I really mean is , help who needs you , we are in this planet not for
long , the only sure of life is that anytime soon or later we will going to die
so as people say You Only Live Once , do the right thing , always…

i was mad , I couldn’t help …how you would feel if your loved one did
things with their ex? Its too hurtful I would talk with her serious later ,
that’s not right . Layla was still at hospital and the doctor came to talk:
-Well, he doesn’t have memory , he forgot things , we will do more exams
later but we need him to go home , he can’t stay here or else he would be able
to get an infections and this can’t happen or else he would be really bad so we
advise that he should go home- the Dr said
-But i don’t know where he lives- Layla said
-Mmm i will contact people and see-Dr said that and left
Layla was been super nice and
helped Victor get his stuff but i still don’t understand why she is helping him
when he tried to kill me, killed Jason and almost killed her in crash, to be
honest she is crazy and i am jealous.
Meanwhile I was getting ready and Nathan was with me. I always tell
Nathan everything that happens to me , since problems with Victor , Layla , my
parents till when I’m sad over a sad movie he is awesome, that’s why we never
had a huge fight!
-Dude i know i can’t be mad but i am , I don’t want Layla seeing Victor-
i said
-AHHHHH boy, You just need to give it time of course she is going to be
worried, you be worried to if was Rachel- Nathan said

Layla found out where victor lived and they got a taxi back to his apartment
where he lived alone. When Layla opened door and got shocked, the place was
really messy
-Ewww victor- she said

-This is your home, god i knew you were lazy but not this lazy-
-Ehhh i don’t know what you’re going on about babe-
-Yeah of course not, go get a bath or something you still got blood on
you-
Layla looked at place and thought; today i will stay here and not go to
university
i was on the bus to museum and i decided to phone Layla

-Its fine, i decided to take day off university victors home is ew I can’t
let him live here whilst he is sick-
-But Layla he isn’t sick he just doesn’t remember stuff- I said and
kinda laughed
then Layla found something when she was sat on his bed
-Uh Adrian i will talk to you later bye love you- and she put phone down
now i was mad Layla looked at what she found and decided to put in her bag
Victor went to shower and Layla got up now , she was getting ready to go
, she would leave a note to Victor , at least now she would feel better , she
did her part…. But someone came in and Layla heard the sound , she went to look
and saw the person in the living room…
-Sorry I came in….the door was opened – the person said
-Oh I think I forgot to close , who you looking for?
-Victor , where he is? I went to the hospital to see him but someone
there gave me this address and told me to come pick him up – the person said
-But who are you? – Layla said worried
-His mom – The blonde woman said
-Ohhhhhh … - Layla never saw his mom , was the first time
Victor’s mom is called Claire. She is average woman who has more 3 kids
but they are more younger than Victor. Claire always thought Victor was her
best son , when he could he always sent her money , gifts , Victor was an amazing
son for her but something was wrong , somebody called her and told her that her
son was at the hospital and Layla thought about asking more about this woman
-So you are his mom? I’m Layla – Layla and Claire shaked hands
-Ohhhh you are his ex aw , you are very beautiful
-Thanks – Layla couldn’t be rude – so you should stay with him he forgot
things so talk to him , I did my part , I promised to myself I would help him
if no one else could help him but I’m here
-Oh I see Layla , don’t worry I will take care of my son , thank You so

Layla said goodbye to Claire , Victor’s mom, and left. She missed the
lessons that day so she just went home.
Layla couldn’t stop to think about Victor’s mom , she was so proud of
her son that was a bit weird but then she decided to make a surprise for me
since I was still at university , Layla decided to run me a bath.
Meanwhile
Felix was at this bar drinking a beer and thinking about Victor. Was
really weird that his son forgot everything in those exactly 2 years , which
was hard moments …Felix never had a place to go , since he left prison he being
sleeping in hotels and running without to pay for the room , he needed to get a
job , but who would give Felix a new job since he just left prision? He needed
a plan. Everybody has 2 choices in life , You can be a good person or a bad
person , which is pretty obvious but Felix
never thought that be a good person would be worth so he wouldn’t change
he would still try to take advantage of someone or something that would give
him benefits.
Felix went to the telephone booth and called someone that for sure would
give him everything that he needed
-Hello?
-Hello…who is talking?- a female voice says
-Its me , you don’t remember me no more?
-Felix….. – she said
-Yeah baby , we need to meet baby doll , can I come

That day has being crazy and now my lesson finished , I couldn’t wait to
go home but I was sad with Layla , I bet she would give me a thousand of
excuses about Victor and stuff , I just don’t know if I can trust her again ,
or am I overreacting again?
I opened the door house and went to living room. Layla wasn’t there so I
went upstairs but she wasn’t there either. I got kinda mad but I tried to calm
down so I went to bathroom to wash my face and I looked at the mirror and
thought about the moments that I had with Nathan , I don’t know why but I kinda
miss him , we don’t spend time together as before and this make me really sad ,
I guess we both changed , we are becoming adults now and this trasintion phase
is really weird so I went to the kitchen , got something to drink and texted
Nathan
Nathan where are you? I thought we should do
something together , I miss you bro J
I sat on the sofa , turned on TV and waited Nathan reply me but he never
did , so after 20 minutes I decided to ride a bicycle and when I was going out
Paula came
-Adriaaaaan heeey boy – she said
-Hey – I thought weird , she sounded happy

-My brother will come to visit me whooppppp I’m so so so so so happy –

Paula was really happy about the fact that her brother would spend couple of days with her , nothing is better
than you see your family after a long time…talking about family I miss my
family so much I wish they lived more closer to me.
I went to ride my bike , I loved to do sports , even though I look
pretty nerd but as a good doctor I must to give the example , sports are one of the secrets of life , if
you walk over 15 minutes a day you can live 3 years more that you are suppose
to live so yeah its sooo good to be a geek…
Meanwhile……
Layla went to the market to buy us lasagna , she wanted to make a
special dinner , she knew I got mad at her , Layla knew me too well , so would
be perfect if we had a romantic dinner. When Layla went to the market she tried
to find Lasagna but she couldn’t so she asked to the seller about where the
lasagna could be but someone was already there asking about a drinks
-Oh no stop to stalk me girl – Tom said
-Haha I’m not Tom – Layla said
-Yes you are , I cant even come to the market in piece that you come
after me , I feel like a celebrity
-Like Justin Green? Haha – Layla laughed

After buying everything Tom and Layla went to his car. When Layla saw
his car she freaked out

His car was a Mercedez-bens , Tom was very rich , now Layla realized how
rich he was…
Layla was sat in the car with Tom it was kinda awkward ,she didn’t know

then his phone ran

now- he shouted

-looks there’s a race, and i need to race i need too for my reputation

Tom accelerated the car as fast as he could and Layla hold and closed
her eyes , was pretty scary.
Tom and this another guy was going to race their cars…..Now Tom stopped
the car where the race would start and left the car , many people started to
scream ‘ TOM TOM TOM TOM TOM TOM ‘ he put his arms up as if he was the winner
already and the other competitor came too and left his car and said :
-IF I WIN I WILL MAKE A PARTY AT MY HOUSE , EVERYBODY IS INVITED
Everybody started to scream , they went insane , a party on a Monday ,
would be perfect. But Tom said
-IF I WIN PALS , I SWEAR , I WONT MAKE ONLY A PARTY AT MY HOUSE , I WILL
MAKE A PARTY AT MY HOUSE AND INVITE THE BEST BAND OF THE STATE TO COME SING FOR
US
Now the audience went crazy , people were screaming both names , Layla
just was in the car hoping this race would finish early , she was scared
The race would start now. Everybody were in their positions…
Meanwhileeee…..
I decided to stop after 45 minutes to get a ice cream , I was riding the
bike for ages , the day was pretty warm. When I sat on the seat at the street ,
I heard someone shouting my name
-Adrian , Adriaaaan , over here – Nick said

-Nothing , I saw you with your bike so I thought about jogging with you
hehe you don’t mind if I stay with you right?

Nick and I were walking home when I see many people together. I thought
made was a movement against using animals skin as clothes or something like
that , many of university students were the ones who defended humanists causes
but when Nick and I came closer we saw that was a race ..
-ADRIAN THIS IS AMAZING , IT’S A RACE , let’s stay

-It’s a boy called Richard and the other is Tom the snob – the girl was
smoking and threw the smoke on his face

-No dude , is Layla – I tried to go to the car before the race start ,
had to many people were too crowd ,I was walking between people and when I got
closer I shouted ‘LAYLA’ but she never saw me , the race started and they were
too fast…..i just thought ‘ No……’
I came back to where Nick and I was and said
-Dude I need to go, we speak tomorrow

I walked home and closed the door hard. I went to my room , so mad , I
sat on my bed and looked at the roof and tears started to roll on my face , I
knew wouldn’t be easy to be Layla boyfriend , she was really beautiful , many
guys would want her but she was with
other guys….that’s not fair , I started to punch my pillow…..
Nathan was at home now and came to me and asked:

The race was over now and Tom was really happy , jumping and screaming

Layla came off the car , since would be awkward she stayed there and Tom
ran to her and hugged her and lifted her
-Thanks beautiful , you helped me a lot – Tom said hugged Layla tight

Now Tom was almost kissing her but she moved

Was late now , almost 10:00 pm and Layla came home. Paula was on the
phone with her brother talking about where he would sleep , how the university
is and also about her roommates , Nathan , Layla and Me. Layla never wanted to
interrupt her phone call so she went to the kitchen to cook the lasagna. While
she put the water to warm on the oven she went upstairs to talk to me
Layla opened my door room and Nathan was there reading a book
-Hey Nathan – Layla said and waved
-Shhhhhh Adrian is sleeping don’t wake him up
-Oh that early?
-Yeah I had to give him a tablet
, he was too mad

He got up and went to the corridor to talk to her.

Next morning I went to university without talking with Layla.. I wanted

Felix had another family which was Bruno , his son with Maria. Maria was
a woman who got pregnant really early with only 16 years old and now she had a
son of 17 years called Bruno and his father was Felix. They never had a good
relationship , which in these days isn’t a rare thing to happen , many fathers
leave their families , sons and daughters alone , with no care or love or even
support , so obvious Bruno wouldn’t treat his father as if he was his hero….
So it was another day at university the weekends seem to never come but
was already Thursday and when they do they are like over within seconds, we
should have longer weekends. Layla went to class and she was looking at her ideas wondering which one
she should develop and then she walked into someone

Meanwhile in Layla class she was getting to know about Lily , they

It was the end of first class and was a break i waited for Layla outside her locked like a
stalker and then i seen her walking with
another girl, i was like wow Layla made a girl friend without killing them. They
came in my direction and I wanted to run , I didn’t want to talk with Layla ,
things were still awkward but I couldn’t go now

went…I was thinking about tell her we should break up for a while , my jealous wouldn’t

-Uhuhuh don’t talk like that , I shiver haha – Chris said
-That’s the intention baby boy RAAWWWR – Nathan shouted
When Chris and Nathan was going home this boy came and shouted
-Awww look the couple….too bad now they won’t be allow to study at
university no more
Nathan wanted to ignore but he looked behind and said
-What? What did you just said? – Nathan said
-Calm down – Chris said
-Well….I heard that in our university has a group against homosexuals
and they will hit all them hahaha be funny
-You are their leader?
-No but I will try to get in the group haha – the boy said called Michel
-Look….- Nathan looked up and down at Michel – You are nothing to me ,
your words won’t stop me to come to university , you won’t stop me to be who I’m
….
-Hahahahahaha this guy is hilarious , he speaks as a true gay man , let
me ask do you sing ITS RAINING MAN Hallelujah??? Just don’t try to flirt with
me ok? – Michel said
-Oh you wanna sound as the smart ass uh? So listen , Just
compare how the same way black people don't want anyone treating them like any
less of a human being because they are not the same color, and sinners don't
want a religious person to try to make them feel any less of a human being for
being who they are, and the same way women don't want men making them feel like
a toy any less of a human being because of whatever reasons. Just compare all
of those and explain how gays also would like to live in a world with people
who doesn't make them feel like any less of a human being for not being able to
help what they are attracted to. I’m not saying its right to be gay or
not , I’m just saying RESPECT ME FOR WHO I’M , I WANT RESPECT , I’M A HUMAN
BEING I HAVE MY RIGHTS
Many people who were still in the
class started to clap hands to Nathan , Michel never had anything to say and
just left….once again Nathan showed to people that he wasn’t the gay boy who
was different , he was equal with all them….
Later that day , Paula was alone at home watching TV she would have an
important rugby game in that day so she was resting the phone rings and she
pick up
-Hello?- she said
-Guess who is? – a manly voices
says
-Oh My God , Its Youuuuu? – Paula said
-Yeah its me, happy to hear my voice haha? – the manly voice said
-I always get happen when we talk , so when you will come here?
-Soon Paula , very soon , I can’t wait to see you sister
Layla was back at the class and her phone vibrated on table and Lily got
for her
-Tom who?- Lily asked
-Tom, tom you know big black hair- Layla smiled
-You text him? Oh My God he is like super rich and mean- Lily laughed
-he bullies my boyfriend-
-Serious?- Layla said -well i make sure he stops then, we talk to him
after this class-
-Aah no need - she said - i guess he might get more bullied- Lily said
-Aww never - Layla said - but tell me how come did you guys started
dating?
-Oh well i remember when i was in 8 nd grade and i went to library to
get a book and he worked there after school so i started to go there always and
we always talked about many things , we both love to study the universe and
stuff you know , we have a lot of things in common
and then i noticed that i couldn’t spend one day without going to the
library to see him....i realized i was in love - Lily Said
-Aw that’s cute - Layla said
-I know , so i tried , i took the risk and i asked him to go out to get
a ice cream and then you knoww the end of the story haha - Lily said
-Wow...that’s story is very romantic
-Is but what about you and Adrian? - Lily asked - he was your first
lover? - Lily winked
Layla laughed -oh Lily it’s such a long story, i will tell another day
but he wasn’t my first-
-Ohhh now you make me wanna know more-
Layla started to talk with Lily about her feelings ,
for once...
-Lily , I’m crazy for Adrian , i believe he is my
soulmate because we actually have a love story and honestly...he is the guy of
my life , was too hard to be with Adrian our past its insane...
-Really? I’m sorry to ask but how come? what happened?
- Lily asked
-Well many things , i already told you about my ex-
boyfriend , Victor , he was a rock in my shoe but i must to admit i loved him a
lot but i realized he used me and when i met Adrian he was different , he was
sweet and gently , he always cared about me
-Aww i understand , my boyfriend is like that too –
Lily laughed
-Yeah and Adrian has something different , he always
cared about me so to protect him from Victor i had to sacrifice myself , i went after Victor so i wouldn’t
allow him to hurt my Adrian but yeah was really hard for me but now i'm sure
everything was worth because Adrian still is there for me….i was afraid before
when we stopped talking that i lost him forever that i wouldn’t ever see that
cute smile , i knew he was unique you know...I’m sorry to say all those things
but i never had a friend to say this
-Oh My God , you guys have a lovely story - Lily said
- Now I am jealous
-Ha you be jealous when i tell you how Adrian asked me
out for the first time - Layla said
Later that day Layla and I went home holding hands , I
was more relief , you know when you are thirsty and the only thing that you
want is water? Yeah , I was feeling like that, more relief and thinking I wouldn’t
ever loose Layla again
In my way home I met Nick and he said:
-Hey Adrian– he smiled
-Yo broo hows you? – I said
-I’m fine , by the way , we need to talk – he looked
sad
-Well man , we speak later Im not in a good mood so
can you call me later – I said
-Hmmm , I had an idea , can I come over to your house? because i don’t
have a place to go - Nick said
-Ok sure – I said
I confess i never liked because i
wanted to be alone… but now was impossible
We came home and sat on sofa..
-Adrian , let’s talk , men talk – he said
-Ok man tell me what happened? – I asked
-You know the girl I like….. Her name is Julie , well I will ask her out
tonight but I don’t know what to say , help me make a speech because like I asked
to her about her love life and stuff and she said that she is sad , she likes
her ex-boyfriend but he keep playing her you know , sometimes it seems that he
likes her and want her but sometimes It seems he doesn’t so I want to be the
best boyfriend to her
-Aww dude , that’s amazing
-So what could I tell her?
-hmmm you should be honest , girls love honest boys , ask her to go out
to a restaurant with you , pay for her and be cute , that’s all be yourself
-Oh yeah you are right haha , can
I play videogame now?
-Sure man , can do anything , pretend it’s your house too – I hugged him
and went to my room
After some minutes Nathan came from university , he was pretty happy ,
what he said today to Michel was epic , he was smiling all the way home…Nathan
looked at nick and said
-Who are you punk? - he said and left his keys on the coffee table
-Nick - he smiled- how about you
-I’m sir Nathan..- he said
-Oh cool Adrian always tell me about you…..he said you are his best
friend
-Awwwwwwwww he said that? i miss him – Nathan said
-Yeah hahahaha – You are weird booyyyy
-So? Are you racist just because I’m tanned you saying this?
-What? Ahhh shut up , I need MY BEAUTY TIME hmmmm but anyways why you are
down here where is Romeo and Juliet - Nathan asked
-I don’t know, I’m happy here playing games to be honest -
-Thats not right- he said
-Uhm- Nick never paid attention
Layla opened the door and Nathan said:
-Ohhhh there it is his Juliet…
-Hi Nathan……look I’m sorry about the other night , I lost my head , I was
confused and mad – Layla said
-Nah , don’t even start gurl , I’m sick of you , I don’t want to stay
here arguing with you , no point , you
are a cheap girl anyways
-What?
I heard voices from my room and thought maybe everybody would be at home
now.
I went downstairs and saw the fight….
-You are no one , you are easy , I bet you bang all them
-What? Shut up Nathan , you keep judging me I never judge you about you
and Chris
-WE ARE ONLY FRIENDS
I Came closer and said:
-STOP IT
-Adrian….kick your woman out of here
-Nathan this isn’t your problem ok? I need to speak with her alone , can
you go please?
-WHAT? Don’t tell me what to do , I hate you Adrian , seriously ,you are
a bad friend
-Am I a bad friend? Really? How come? – I asked
-You never call me , you don’t ask me out , you don’t care about me and
my problems is JUST LAYLA LAYLA OH NATHAN LAYLA GO AFTER VICTOR I THINK SHE
MIGHT DON’T LOVE IT , OH I CRY OVER HER BECAUSE WITHOUT HER I CANT LIVE STOP TO
BE IDIOT – Nathan was screaming – BE A MAN , GROW UP , THIS GIRL WONT EVER LOVE
YOU , SHE IS PLAYING YOU
-AHHHHHHHH – Layla wanted to hit Nathan so hard but I stopped her
-No Layla , don’t hit
-BRING ON LAYLA , SHOW ME THE EASY GIRL POWER UHUHUHUH – Nathan was
shaking his head
-You wish you were me , the real thing is , you love Adrian and wish he
was with you
-Oh My God , both stop it , this will be worst if you guys keep talking
-Ha ,she is just going low now – Nathan said
-You Low – Layla stared him
-She punched me Adrian , you won’t do anything? Layla doesn’t love you ,
she won’t ever love , she will just use you….
-Ahhhh and I punched you because you said I killed Jason – Layla said
-Who you gonna pick Adrian, me or her?- Nathan said
That was so unfair , how could I choose between my best friends , the
people that I really loved…I couldn’t , was a really bad situation. I don’t know
if you ever had a similar experience like me but its soo awful to have to
choose between someone , people shouldn’t say this ever so I decided to walk
away and leave them both. I went to my room and Layla followed me
-Adrian , we need to talk
-No , we don’t , its over Layla , I don’t wanna be with you anymore
-What? Why?
-Because you made your choice , you went after Victor , you spent your
day with Tom…you don’t need me , once again , you used me , great success?
-Adrian , don’t make me mad….you know that I love you or else I wouldn’t
be here
-Yeah right – I was holding the tears – just go
-So you choosing Nathan? – she asked
-I’m choosing myself – Layla looked down and crying she said
-Adrian….ok I will do it as you want…
-Yeah good night! – I closed the door of my room
The bell rang and Paula ran to the to
door to open it , she was excited , was her brother….she opened the door and
said
-HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY BROOOO – Paula jumped
on him and hugged her brother tight
Nathan was in the kitchen and walked to the door to see
who was and he couldn’t believe it about who was right there hugging Paula.....
-Oh My God…-He was breathing fast-….It’s Jonas…..
