-Ok calm down miss , well Layla had a fracture of a vertebra which we saw on the exams and sadly she lost the movements of her legs , Layla is paraplegic
When the doctor said this
almost everybody took a deep breath and said Oh No
-So she can’t walk anymore?
– Layla mom said
-No , not now , she will have
to do more surgery’s and also treatment with the physiotherapist
-You said she would be fine
doctor , you lied to me – I said to him
-No I didn’t , but I never
knew that this happened Adrian I’m sorry – The doctor said – Now who want to go
to her room to visit her can go , first will be the parents of course then the
others but I suggest you guys don’t stay long because she need to rest
The doctor left the room
and Layla’s mom started to scream and cry , she was desperate , Victor never
had any reaction , he was looking to the floor and never changed position , I
felt sad but I believed in her recuperation , everybody got sad.
Layla was awake , the
doctor never told her about what happened to her . Her parents went to the room
to see her and talk to her …but they explained to her what happened and gave
all the details , they told her that I gave blood to her and said Victor was ok
but she keep asking about Victor , she wanted to see him so her dad went to the
room that we were , waiting to see her and then he said :
-Victor?
-Come , Layla wanna see you
– her dad smiled
-Oh really? Ok then , I go
– Victor looked to me and then went to the room
-Guys I’m sorry but Layla
don’t wanna see anyone else besides , My wife and me and also my others kids
and Victor , thanks so much for coming and helping now we will take care of her
-What? – I said
My mom touched my back and
said
-Adrian , you heard the man

see me? She wanna see him who almost killed and not me?
-Adrian , this is part of
life ,have days that we win and also have days that we loose , its like a rule

Layla is dead , enough , I’m ending with this right now , lets go
After that day I never saw
Layla again and never had news about her since I told all my friends that I
wanted to forget that she exist or anything like this so they weren’t allowed
to even say her name near me. I know that was mean , leave her like that but
she left me a long time before and now I just woke up , I opened my eyes , I
was blind , I thought Layla was my life , I thought I couldn’t leave without
her , but the mistake was , I was thinking like this but she never did….It was
time to let her go
Well here we go again. Many
things happened in my life since Layla got the car accident and I’m gonna tell
you guys exactly what happened since that day.
When Layla made her choice , when
she told Victor to get in her room at the hospital ,was the sign that she never
wanted to talk to me ever again , even though she knew how much I cared for her
and loved her. That just broke my heart in million pieces , I wasn’t the same
Adrian as before , I completely changed , I never had a reason to smile anymore
, my friends tried to make me laugh but was like I wasn’t even there , my
parents tried to take me and my brothers to theme parks , to new places ,
restaurants ,cinema but nothing could cheer me up , I felt like I was dead ,
like I never had a destiny , I don’t know if you ever felt you were empty , but
is the worst feeling ever…
Now 2 weeks has gone and I just
want to rush time , it seems the clock doesn’t move , I want to take off my
heart and threw in the bin , its bleeding , hurts…
I told my friends I never wanted
to listen anything about Layla or from Layla , she made me suffer too much ,
maybe she doesn’t see like this but to me she actually killed me inside. I was
willing to be more happy to be someone who could laugh of a simple joke but I
couldn’t….
I went to the school but now
Layla is home schooled , since she cant walk as before , she needs the wheels
chair and I don’t know but I suppose Layla don’t wanna be seen using that chair
so would be better for her stay at home till she walks , if she would ever walk
again…
Nathan and the others always
called me asking me if I wanted to go out and I always rejected their invites ,
even my job at the cinema I had quit , because I couldn’t work like this.
Today was Saturday morning , was
pretty cold outside , I never wanted to get up that day and I tried to sleep
again but never worked. Sleep for me was the best medication , was the only way
to forget the pain so since I couldn’t get sleep no more I got up and went to
the kitchen to get an orange juice. No one woke up yet , even my mom who is
used to always wake up 6:00am , I guess the cold weather just make us want to
not leave our bed ever.
I Turned the tv and started to
watch a show , was a about a girl who really loved a boy but he cheated on her
, I don’t know if Layla is with Victor still or not but I’m sure if they be together
or if they are he would probably cheat her as this guy on tv and that’s makes
me annoyed , we never choose with who we gonna fall in love but girls have the
tendency to always fall in love in with the wrong guy , the one who hurt her ,
who break her heart in pieces , who want her to do things that she don’t want
it , that make her sad without doing anything , do you know anyone like this?
MEANWHILE
At Layla’s home
-Heeey Layla , I missed you –
Victor said to Layla , hugging her , she was in her bed with pj’s
-Hey Victor , I missed you more
babe , hows you? You never called me last night – Layla said
-Oh I was with mates , having
some fun you know – He smiled to her and touched her forehead
-Hm ok but you don’t call me
anymore , anything is wrong? – Layla asked
-Nah , I’m just too tired ,
working a lot with dad , I come home late and fall asleep straight away , I
don’t even eat sometimes babe – Victor sat on Layla bed
-Aww poor you Victor , I wish you
could have more time for me , I need attention – Layla said
-I know but I must go out to
clubs and get more clients, you know how is my life and my dad miss you so much
– he said
-Aw really? In a couple of days
doctor said I can try walk , I wont need this wheel chair anymore
-Wow this is great I’m happy for
you– he said
-So am I – Layla smiled and
touched his hair
-Well Layla I’m going now ok?
-Why? You just came – she said
-I know but I have thousand
things to do it and I cant stay , I just came to see you but I promise I will
come tomorrow night and we can watch a movie , what you think?
-Mmmm sure Victor – she got sad ,
she was still sick and Victor looked like he never cared
Victor kissed her forehead and
left.
Layla was feeling lonely , its
been ages that she don’t see her friends , so she decided to call some of them
maybe someone could go there and talk to her ,make her feel less sad over this
whole situation.
So she called Chloe…..The phone
rang over 6 times , Chloe never picked up , so Layla tried again , maybe Chloe
would be in shower or something so she
tried again and nothing , so she decided to text Chloe and said:
Heey Chloe , I miss you xx
Hows You? I’m pretty bored here at home
So I was wondering if you could come? Bring Sara
I really need someone to talk to L
After that Layla decided to call
someone else , maybe she would call Sara , so she tried. The same thing
happened once again , Sara never picked up the phone ….’What the hell is
happening today? Everybody forgot their phones argh , I might call Ashton then’
Layla thought…And she did and this time he picked up the phone.
-Hello? – Ashton said
-Oh Hey Ashton Its Layla – she
said
-Oh hey Layla – he sounded
disappointed
-Mmm Hows you? Long talk and no
talk ….sad – she said
-I know right , everybody is busy
with exams now , we are studying loads – he said
-Oh that’s right , I’m still
studying argh , I hate that , I’m home schooled now so I got a teacher that is
totally a jerk
-Oh I see – Ashton was short
-Hmm soo where is everybody? –
she asked
-Well , I cant tell you , to be
honest Layla I just never ignored your call because that would be really rude
but like I kinda wont talk to you no more
-Why? What happened? – Layla was
surprised
-I think it obvious , Adrian is
our friend and everybody knows about what you did to him and the way you made
your choice that day at hospital so we kinda will just talk with Adrian since
he is our friend
-But you guys are my friends too….
-Well yeah but like we can’t talk
to you or tell him anything about it, he doesn’t want to know about you – he
said
-Oh God , Adrian is such a spoil
kid , he just want attention can’t you see man , he is sooo uncool , God I hate
him

Layla turned off the phone
She was really annoyed , now her
life was like mine , completely
differemt , so no point of trying to be friends with Chloe , Sara , Edward or
even Nathan… Layla was lonely and
depressed…Her physiotherapy its working , now she is processing well the
treatment , for sure in a couple of weeks Layla could walk as before , she was
doing great…Layla got her phone and thought about calling Adrian , she really
missed me , every night Layla thought about our past , about the things we done
together , about the times we cried together or when I tried to save her so
slowly , she got her crutch and trying hard she went to her wardrobe and search
for a envelope , there she saved one pic and was Layla and me hugging ,she
touched the pic as if she could touch me and started to cry and said :
-I miss you Adrian , I miss you
so much , forgive me ……I never knew I would of loose you this time ….i never
did before…..i love you Adrian , I will always love you and be proud of the
human being that you gonna be , I will always love you
Layla kissed the picture and put
the picture back in the envelope and went to bed hoping the next day the pain
would be less…
Next day….
-Honey , I’m worried about our
Adrian – My mom said
-Why Betty? – My dad said
-Cant you see? Our son is
depressed , I’m soo worried about him , he doesn’t eat as before, he just wanna
sleep , when we wanna go out he always refuse , I noticed he is more aggressive
to us , this is all because of Layla cant you see?
-Yes I can but what you want me
to do? Adrian isn’t a kid as our Little John , so he can take care of himself
trust me – he said
-Nooo he cant , he is sad , I
look to my son and I feel like crying , isn’t fair , we must take care of him
and do something
-Hmm sure we could pay the
psychologist to Adrian , there he could open and tell her or him how he feels ,
we can afford this , it’s a treatment – he said

would work , Adrian look dead , he doesn’t have any attitude , I told him I
would buy an iphone to him on his birthday and he never even looked to me he ignored…he
is weird , he keep looking to the wall as if he was lost

I was in my room , doing homework , trying to feel less sad. I turned on tv but
theres nothing cool on tv right now so I turn off. Then I decided to get my pc
and go to that avatar website , I miss my friends there , even though many
people say ‘oh this website is boring , oh I’m gonna quit ‘ I just think its
good to go there sometimes , theres always a person who would be glad to help
you and treat you right
So I went there and I noticed my
friend called Evie was online , I’m friends with her on that website almost a
year now and she come online there anymore but today she was so I decided to

Victor went to the club , as he
said to Layla he had some business to do , but he was a smart guy , he wouldn’t
be stuck with Layla anymore , he always said ‘ I don’t want to date a 4 legs
girl’. The 2 things that always made Victor crazy was money, in first place and
second the girls ; so of course that night he wouldn’t only spend his time
working. Victor went home first to change and take a shower and then he would
go to this New night club

-Yeah I did - Victor said while he was trying to find
fancy clothes to go out

better?
-Yeah I guess so , we never
talked much , she looks sick , she is pale now , she lost some weight and has
that puppy face haha I feel sorry for Layla but I guess life is just fair , she
is paying for leaving me ….she wanted Adrian and now he left her too , I bet
she regret it of all those bad things that she did dad – Victor said

before the car accident we were going to get her to work for us remember? We

I never talked much about Felix
and I think now is the right moment to tell you guys a little more about this
man who is Victor’s father.He is a Mexican guy , he is 48 years old and have 3
kids Victor and the other 2 with another woman , he always worked about selling
things which aren’t allowed , Felix got in jail for 3 times and last time he
stayed there 5 years , he was accused of murder , he isn’t a nice guy….Felix
only came back to Victor’s life because he has a plan , he wanna use his son to
be rich . Since they started their business selling drugs in night clubs there
already have enough money to runaway and start a new life , to buy houses ,
cars , everything the wanted but Felix isn’t a kind man , he just want the
money and leave Victor once again , alone.
Felix went to Layla’s house to
see how she was feeling , because he had a certain interest on Layla

us tight , even though they were my best friends ever I started to miss someone

That party was amazing , was one
day before my trip to Canada , I never thought would be soo hard for me to
leave all my friends there and my family , they are my life , I don’t think
will be a good idea live in a country that I never been before all alone just
with a distance cousin
AFTER 2 MONTHS
Many things happened after those
2 long months , to me went really fast , so I will tell you guys a little about
my experience in a new country living with my cousin Luke.
Obviously I wasn’t used to live
in a so cold country but I was loving I
got so many nice clothes and started to learn snowboarding , of course I failed
doing that sport but hey at least was something different. I never saw snow
before in my entire life and in those 2 months I swear I was already tired … I
made some friends , they were from another countries too like South Africa , Australia
, Argentina . Bosnia , Norway , Usa , India ,and Israel so was a nice moment with all
them , but I most confess there I saw a girl that actually made me feel lost ,
I couldn’t stop to stare at her , she was tall as a model , skinny as a model ,
I bet she was a model , her name was Gisele….ahhh I was loving that time in
Canada , the best days of my life….
I never knew about many things
that happened in my city because the only people that I still talked was Nathan
, Ashton and my parents so I never knew anything but one thing I knew , Layla
for sure was over me….Even though I wasn’t over her , I still love her more
than anyone else , more than I ever loved any girl in this small planet
So was weekend now and I decided
to call Nathan to know more news about everybody , it’s been weeks that we don’t
speak

a hard time with Victor , he forced her to work for him in his business , so
she would get more clients for them, he had so many clients now he even sell
his stuff to another states , the business were just getting bigger and bigger
and Felix knew his son and Layla together was a gold mine , he couldn’t waste
the chance to get more money from his son
Later that day , Felix went to
Victor room and said

-She went to the mall to buy some
clothes and then we will meet at the party why

inside he couldn’t wait the day he would steal all Victor’s money , since
Victor hide the money and don’t let Felix get anything.
Layla went to the mall to buy a
new dress , since she must to look stunning. She was walking in the mall when
someone touch her shoulder and says :
-Hey Layla
-Oh Jesus , Jason , how are
youuuu? – she hugged him
-I’m cool how about you? I heard
you living with Victor now uh? – Jason said
-Oh yeah , I decided to live
there so I could control him more haha but tell me about you , I thought you
would move to Southland , you and Rachel uhuhuhuh
-Nah , we broke up , never worked
out
-Why not?
-Because I always liked someone
else you know , I couldn’t play her like this
-Oh I see – Layla said
-Yep , so wanna drink a cup of
tea with me?
-Hahaha tea? Couldn’t be a beer? I
really need to drink something to wake me up
-Ok sure lets go
Layla and Jason sat outside the
mall and started to talk , they stayed there for ages Jason told her many
things , including the person that he always loved , and guess what who Jason
Loved? Who Jason wanted?
After a couple of hours Layla and
Jason went in the mall to try find Layla a new dress and they did , in the end
Jason took Layla to Victor’s house and said:
-Layla , you are really important
to me – he touched her cheek
-Same Jason , you are very sweet
- Thanks – he smiled-So better I go
now uh? See you another time then?
-Sure , I just cant tell Victor
or else you be dead
-Hahaha I don’t wanna die anytime
soon , I wanna try get the girl that I want and marry her
-Aww that’s so cute , I have to
go now byee Jason – Layla kissed his cheek and he kissed her cheek back
Layla never had too much to get
ready , she had to shower and put make-up in 15 minutes , that impossible for a
girl ,so she did her best
Victor already went to the club
so Felix decided he would take her to the party where she would help Victor to
sell drugs to old man
-Layla , you look so gorgeous –
Felix said
-Thanks daddy – she winked
-Welcome – he got excited
-Well lets go
-Ok – she smiled
-Oh by the way where is the
crutchs girl?
-Hahaha Felix , I’m normal again
, no need them to be honest , I just use them now to park my car in easy places
I know that’s wrong but yaaaanooo – she was smiling
-Hahahahaha so clever
At the party Layla started to
feel kinda weak , dizzy but she ignored , maybe was too warm so she tried to ignore. Layla went over to the bar to get a drink before she
started to do her business
-Boo!-
-Boo!-
-Ahh- Layla got scared and turned around
-It's only me hun- Nathan said smiling
-Oooooh My God hi Nathan!- Layla hugged him
From a distance Chloe was sat down with all of her friends and she saw Layla and Nathan hugging
-Looks like tonight is going to be fun Rhonda- Chloe said
- Why?-
- Layla is here...-
- Oh- Rhonda looked - Hey guuuuuuurl I know her from somewhere...omg she was the girl who flirted with my boyfriend before and looks like thats what shes doing now with your boy-
-Oh My God she will die- Layla said
Meanwhile Nathan and Layla where having a quick catch up about life and whats happened, sadly Layla never even mentioned Adrian it was like he was dead to her
-Come on Layla Chloe and Sara are here- he took hold of her hand and took her over to where they where sitting
-Hey girls I called you many times but you never answered whats happened?-Layla said Chloe gave the look to her
-Wow Chloe that was a harsh look - Layla laughed
Rhonda just looked at Layla up and down
-Why are you here Layla no one likes you, your just a waste- Chloe said
-Uncool chloe dont say that to Layla- Nathan said
layla laughed - its fine Nathan- she touched his arm, Chloe stood up angrily
-Get yous paws off my boyfriend- Chloe shouted
-Oh Nathan I never knew someone owned you?-
-Yooooooo blondie get lost yeah go do your make up or something- Rhonda said
-Uhm who are
you? and you should be the one doing their make up seriously who comes out to a
nightclub in jeans-Nathan kinda laughed at this and Chloe got more mad
-Layla you dress like a slag-Chloe shouted
-Atleast I look good- she winked at Chloe - even your boyfriend agrees-
Chloe got more closer to Layla
-Oooo you going
to hit me Chloe- Layla laughed
Chloe just stared Layla walked away but then Chloe pulled her hair, then Layla turned back around - aw come on Chloe where not in the playground anymore- Layla punched Chloe in the face
-Oh my Dear Lord- Nathan shouted
Layla and Chloe
started to fight, Chloe was fighting like a 8year old girl but Layla was fighting
like a man and to be fair Chloe was loosing the fight and Rhonda saw and
decided to join.
At
this point many people started to watch then fight Layla was like an animal for
sure victor told her how to fight, Nathan was trying to split them up but kinda
failed. Then Rhonda got Layla
against the wall Layla laughed
- Aww you going
to kiss me now, you look like a lesbain-
Rhonda got mad
-Nahh Barbie im
going too kill you, to be honest the car crash should off killed you, but it
failed didnt it- Rhonda said
Layla got quiet and Rhonda got a knife out....
-Put the knife down- a voice came behind Rhonda , she turned around and saw Felix with a gun, and she put the knife down
-Looks like your old pedo boyfriend came to save you-
Layla laughed and punched her hard in the face she fell to the floor unconscious
-Wow- Felix said
Layla got quiet and Rhonda got a knife out....
-Put the knife down- a voice came behind Rhonda , she turned around and saw Felix with a gun, and she put the knife down
-Looks like your old pedo boyfriend came to save you-
Layla laughed and punched her hard in the face she fell to the floor unconscious
-Wow- Felix said
Felix grabbed
Layla arm and said
-lets go
-But but and
Victor
-nevermind him
now Layla ,lets go now
Layla followed
Felix till outside and went to his car , there Felix was shaking and said
-I cant hide
anymore , I love you Layla
Felix
leaned over to Layla to try kiss her but she immendentily slapped him across
his face without even knowing
Layla
looked out the window and saw Victor looking at her
