The car crashed straight into a truck and rolled over onto the roof and
down the hill blood dripped
onto the grass....
The car flipped for a couple of times and then stopped. Layla was
unconscious she was bleeding a lot. Victor was also hurt but he was awake,
nothing bad happened to him , only to Layla. He got desperate when he saw the
blood , he looked to Layla and then looked to himself , he was worried about
himself in that moment ,he tried to unlock the car belt but was stuck , he
started to hit the steering wheel , blaming himself for that accident , he
never payed attention on the road and there was Layla , bleeding , he couldn’t
even look at her , he thought she was dead….
Someone who saw the car accident called the ambulance and the police ,
they needed help as soon as possible.
After a few minutes ,the police came , to see if had people there and if
they were alive or not . Victor heard people talking and started to scream for
help , he was desperate. Police heard someone screaming and then ran to find survivors.
-HEEEELP , HEEEELPPPPP SIR , OVEEEER HERE PLEASEEE HELP MEEE – Victor
was screaming

Layla lost her consciousness when
the car crashed on the truck , she got so nervous that she had a blackout , she
got so much hurt , she had a deep cut in her head and was loosing too much
blood. Police got a hammer and started
to hit the car to open it and get them of the car before the explosion . They
were lucky , the car didn’t exploded yet but would in any minute . Ambulance
finally came and now after the hard work of the Police , the doctors came , got
the stretchers and put them there and fast put them in the ambulance and took
to the hospital , Layla case was the most serious
I was at the party , sat on the sand , looking to the ocean and thinking
as always , to be honest I love to do that , I always feel better and in peace ,
but then someone touched my shoulder and when I looked who was there….. I saw Rachel
-Can I sit with you cutie? – Rachel said
- Of course you can duuh – I said and smiled
-Adrian , you look so cute in that suit , you look like a true gentleman
haha – Rachel joked
-Suure a proper holywood actor uh – I said

I must confess , I never had jealous of her but like come on , she

My father was talking with this officer who was helping with the wedding
with the security and the officer said:
-Southland isn’t calm as before , now has many accidents over here – The
man said
-Really? Has ages that I don’t come here Officer , I thought he was very
calm – my father said
-Yeah but isn’t anymore , like 15 minutes ago a boy crashed car on a
truck , I bet both of them will die
-Boy? – my father thought weird
-Yeah and a girl , young kids you know , it’s just sad – The officer man
said
-A boy and a girl? I’m scared now Officer…….Hmmm do you know if he was
with a blonde girl? – My father asked , scared of the answer

-Hmm I think is my son ex-girlfriend , officer do you know what hospital
they are? Tell me fast I need to go there to try to help somehow

-Ok I will talk with my son , we will go to the hospital right now– my
father said
I was mad at Rachel , thinking she was using me to have fun or to make
me like her but thank God , that never
worked but one thing was freakin me out :
I wonder if Jason actually likes her or plays here as Victor.
After Rachel tell me about her new relationship I got up , cleaned my
clothes of the sand and said :
-I don’t think you should be with him , I’m pretty sure he isn’t good
enough for you but is your choice be happy
-Nooooo Adrian , I want you to be happy , you look miserable – she
touched my hand – look I always liked you , I wanted to be yours but you just
had eyes for Layla….you wouldn’t ever be mine , only hers and besides that
wouldn’t be nice to be with you while you still think about her
-I know , you are right Rach , come give me a hug – I smiled to Rachel
and we both hugged tight.
Rachel and I had a strong connection , it’s like I already knew her for
years , sadly , I never felt something strong for her but I just hope Jason can
treat her as she deserve.
After my deep talk with Rachel , she left to find Jason and I walked in
direction of the party but I saw someone running to me , was kinda dark and I
was without my glasses so I couldn’t see who was
-ADRIAAAN , ADRIAAAN – Ashton said running – ADRIAAAN
-Ashton….what happened? – I got scared , Ashton was pale
-Duuude……god I can’t breath ….- he said
-Noo don’t worry , tell me what happened , why you are so desperate – I

-Layla…..Victor…..had a car crash – Ashton said
-Huh?...... Car crash? – I couldn’t even talk
-Yeah the officer just told your dad , let’s go ,he will take you to the
hospital to see her
-What? Hospital? Was that bad? – I was shaking
-Dude the car flipped….i don’t
know if they are alive….
When Ashton told me this I was panicking , I started to shake even more
and started to get desperate , I never knew what to do , if I should go and see
her dead or stay there wanting to die too…I was touching my hair holding the
scream , look what Victor done , he killed her….
Ashton was rushing me and telling me to meet my father at the parking
lot but I couldn’t tell anyone at the party even Nathan , people would get
worried and my grandmother’s party would be ruined , so I ran with Ashton as
much faster as we could and got in the car. My father was serious and then he
said:
-Adrian , we don’t know how Layla and Victor are , but I want you to
prepared to everything possible that might happened…- he touched my head
-Dad….i’m not but are you sure was Victor car? Maybe wasn’t you know
,Ashton told me that an officer told you….
-Well he told me what car was , the color and also the plaque…I’m sorry
son – he said
-Then let’s go fast , they might need us for anything? – Ashton shouted
-Ok let’s go – Dad said
My father was driving pretty faster ; the hospital wasn’t so far away
but the traffic was awful. I turned on the radio because that silence in the
car was killing me , I was trying to not think about Layla dead but was impossible
, those bad thoughts was annoying me already , all I could imagine was Layla
with blood in her whole body and dead….If Victor died of course I would be sad
but I wouldn’t mind , he hurt me too much , I just can’t forgive him , I can’t….
Now we were at hospital , while my father was parking the car Ashton and
I ran to the hospital entrance and went to the reception.
-Please missy , we are looking for Layla Grey and Victor hmm I forgot
his last name , do you know where they are? – I asked
-Wait a second , this sir near you came first so I will answer him first
then you ok? – the woman said
-No ,you don’t understand ,they had a car accident, they might be dead ,
I need to know – I was rude
-Hmmm excuse me please – she gave me the look
-Adrian , nevermind….let’s wait – Ashton said
-Dude…..come on – I said
-Shhhh – he was whispering – just follow me
I never noticed but had a door on the door side , was only for employees
of the hospital , so nobody was looking , we went there. The hospital was
pretty huge , I doubt it my dad would find us there. We were walking in the
hospital and I could see many rooms and sick people there , was pretty sad ,
many oldies there all alone , some were with their legs broke , others with
oxygen mask , I saw kids without hair probably with cancer too but when I was
there , seeing all those people all I wanted was help them , take care of
them….i might someday be a doctor.
-Dude , look , I think Layla and Victor are in the emergency , are you
ready? – Ashton asked
-Hmmm I don’t know…I feel like fainting but I’m ok – I smiled
-Dude you smiled , you think Layla is dead no right? – he asked
-I think she is alive , lets find the girl of my life – I said
-Ok
Ashton opened the emergency door , was a unforgettable scene , I could
see many people hurt , with both eyes black but then I saw Victor on a
stretchers but awake so Ashton and I went there….when I saw her I wanted to hit
him so much
-Victor….- Ashton said
-Ahhhhh , stalkers – he said
-Shut up – I said
-What the hell you are doing here pal? Came to laugh of me? – he said
-Hmm no , I’m not like you , not at all – I said
-Ok – he said
-Where is Layla? – I asked
-I don’t know I think she died , she had so much blood but I don’t
remember much now like I was scared I would die and I was there screaming for
help
-Dude , you don’t care about her do you? – I said
-Of course I do , I just got worried about me , now excuse me I wanna be
alone – he said

-No Adrian , don’t say anything dude – Ashton said
-Nah , too late , Victor I hate you , you are disgusting , if you killed
Layla , I kill you , maybe not with my hands or shot , but I kill you inside ,
your feelings , I wont ever let you have peace
-Ok – Victor was being short and rude
-Are you listening to me – I grabbed his tshirt – this is all your fault
– I raised my voice
-So? Leave me alone gay , even if I never had that car accident , you
wouldn’t be with Layla , ha she is mine now , I slept with her , she is mine
100% and if she died pal then I think you already know who is the winner and
the loser here
-Arghhhhhhhhhh – I was almost punching him when security came and told
me to stop.
They took me out of there and Victor started to laugh while he put his
arm behind his head , as if he was on vacations
They took Ashton and I to the doctor office and my father was there.
There they were talking about Layla and Victor , my dad told the doctor the
whole story so the doctor could understand more about his new patients.
We opened the door and they were saying
-Layla is a strong girl , I bet she will be fine – my father said
-Yeah I don’t have doubts but she had deep cuts , we will have to do a
surgery as soon as possible ,but sadly in our hospital we don’t have blood to
donate to patients , I know this sound ridiculous but our hospital is facing
for many changes so sometimes those things happen , so I wanna ask you sir , if
you have blood type O+ , would be easy to donate to Layla , she need it or else
we will have to wait for hours till the team get blood for another hospital
-Damn , my blood is B+ –my fathe said
-Wow rare blood…- then the doctor looked to me and Ashton – hmm any of
you two has blood O+?
-Adrian has doctor , Adrian has – my father was smiling
-Do i? -I never knew my blood type what a shame - i said it
-He is , I’m sure doctor
-Ok lets get your blood and give to Layla , but before I need to ask
some questions – the doctor smiled and took me to another place
There I sat on a chair and the nurse came and put a syringe in my veins
and started to take off my blood , I was feeling dizzy now , everything was
spinning , to be honest I never donate my blood to anyone , so I was pretty
nervous but this was for Layla so I shouldn’t be afraid or scared.
After I give my blood doctor told me he would take me to see Layla.
Everything happened too fast. So while My Father and Ashton were waiting for me
at the doctor office he told me to the ICU and there was Layla , on a bed ,
sleeping
-Adrian , you can stay 5 minutes , Layla isn’t in coma , I just gave her
strong drugs so she sleep and don’t feel pain , she isn’t ok yet , we must to
do the surgery but you can be sure I will do my best to save her ok? – he
smiled once again
-Ok doctor , I trust you – I smiled back and walked near Layla
She still had blood on her body but less , they changed her clothes and
now she was with a hospital jersey and was sleeping. I could see the deep cuts
, they put it adhesive tapes to help to stanch the blood. I touched her hair
slowly and started to cry , I knew she couldn’t hear me but still I was going
to talk :
-Layla , you are alive , I thought you died …. – I held her hand – I
know you cant hear me but doest matter I wanna to say that I always will love
you , even if you don’t be with me but I will do my best to never let you go ,
ahhh I can still remember the first time we met , we never cared for eachother
, we were strangers but when we started to talk more at that party I really
started to like you and now I’m rendered to you…….- I kissed her forehead –
when you wake up I will be here , waiting for you and this time I won’t loose
you again , I wont let you sacrifice yourself because of me…..i’m pretty sure
we will have like 7 kids haha and they will be beautiful like you
-Adrian – I heard a manly voice
-Yeah – I looked back to the door
-Its time to go ,the surgery will be now – the doctor said
-Ok , just let me say one thing to her – I looked to Layla again and
said – I love you babe – I kissed her lips softy
-Aw come on Adrian , she be fine ok , now you should go meet you Dad and
your friend , they are outside with Victor
-Victor? – I asked
-Yeah he is fine now – the doctor smiled. He loves to smile
Victor was good now uh? That’s pretty uncool , he crash the car and is
perfect , Layla can die because this stupid guy , I cant allow this , I will
tell him some words….
MEANWHILE
Nathan and the guys was at the party having fun , people noticed that
Ashton , dad and I wasn’t there but nobody called us. The party was pretty nice
, but Bob and my grandmother would go right now , they would go to the airport
get the next flight to Greece , they were going to their honeymoon.
But grandmother still wanted to stay since so many people came to her
wedding , she was pretty happy , she went to the dance floor but no one was
there dancing , the band was playing Frank Sinatra songs , the party was kinda
slow but then she shouted:
-Nathaaaaaan , come here son – she said
-OOOOk – Nathan stumble and almost fell – Woaaah I feel like a like
a….hmmm fish
-Nathan , we must to rock this party , its too parade
-Hmmm I already know what im gonna do , I will be the DJ whooopppp
Nathan went to the band and told them some words and got the microphone
and said
-YOOOOO PEOPLE FROM SOUTHLAND , WHO IS READY TO HAVE FUN? LETS GET THE
PARTY STARTED , SHAKE YOUR ASS
Grandma was the first to go to the dance floor and started to dance like
a teenager , Nathan saw her and went to dance with her too
-Turn on the music – Grandma started to sing
-Whoooppppp Grandma lets dance till the sun raise whoooppp – Nathan was
pretty drunk now
-Yeaaaah Nathan , lets show them how to rock our body – she laughed
-Whhooopppppp shake that ass with
me shake that ass with me mama– Nathan was
screaming
Chloe saw the scene and commented with Sara
-Aww look to Nathan , he look like those drag queens haha but still hot-
Chloe said
-Huh? Why drag queen? – Sara asked
-Because he keep shaking his ass as if he was in carnival in brazil ,
soon he will dance samba hahahaha – Chloe said

Chloe grabbed Sara and went to the dance floor too. Now everybody went
there too to dance , Nathan made everybody to dance , they were having soo much
fun.
Now I was still at the hospital , trying to find Victor , my father and
Ashton.I went to the doctor office but they weren’t there , I went to the
emergency but they weren’t there either so I went outside to get some fresh air
and finally found them…my father was talking with Victor alone.
-Victor ,look at you , you are 18 years old and you keep threating my
son only because he likes your ex-girlfriend , this isn’t right , I know Adrian
must be annoying sometimes , I know that , he is my son I love him but no one
is perfect , but you should understand that they loved eachother , why hurt
them so much?
-Well I don’t know sir , I guess I was jealous – Victor said
-Yeah I know that’s why I want you to say sorry for Adrian
-Huh? Never – Victor said
-Why not? Its time of you be a man and not a kid – my father was mad
-Hm ok , I will tell him sorry –Victor rolled his eyes
-Ok and oh , I don’t want you close of my kid or his friends , leave him
alone and I make sure he won’t be close to Layla again – my father said
-Ok , we have a deal then sir – they shake hands
I was pretty sad , I had a bad feeling about everything I just wanted to
go home so I looked back and Ashton was there looking to me as if he was
feeling sorry for me. I looked to him and came closer and said
-What happened? Why you looking to me as if someone died? – I asked
-Bro , are you ok? You look lost – Ashton said
-I don’t know , I just had a bad feeling – I said
-Oh well better we go home now , Layla parents are coming – Ashton said
-Oh really? – I said
-Yeah dude , Victor will stay with her ,lets come back to the party
-No Ashton are you insane? I won’t leave her
-Ahhhh dude come on , Edward just called me saying Nathan tried to kiss
people , girls and boys hahaha – Ashton said
-Seriously? God ,we should of be there right – I said
-For sure man , so let’s go , she will be fine
-Nah I will stay here till she wake up then I will ask her to be my
girlfriend man and we will marry in a few years and have a baby called Seth
-Seth? Ewww name haha but nice man , are you sure about asking her out?
-Yeah 100% , I want to be her man and treat her as my queen forever – I
said
-Ok , I will always support you – he hugged me
-Ok bro
Meanwhile the party was ending
now
People were saying goodbye to my grandma and Bob , they were getting the
taxi to the airport. Bob held my grandma hand and said
-Thanks everyone for coming to our wedding, I ‘m soo glad you guys came
, thank you very much and I wish everyone here happiness and all the good
things
My grandma just smiled and asked Chloe
-Where is Adrian? I wanna say goodbye
-Oh I don’t know Mrs – Chloe said
-Huh? Help Layla? – Chloe was confused
-Yeah , she will need him too much , anyways I have to go dear
-Wait…can you see the future or something?
-Haha well let’s say God and I are true mates he always tell me things ,
I know this is a bit weird but it’s like I always know what is gonna happen and

Chloe stopped and was thinking about every word my grandma said , she
was thinking about don’t let Nathan go , don’t loose him she tried to find
Nathan , she saw him talking with a boy and she ran to him and said :
-Nathan……be mine? – Chloe said
-What? – he said
-Be with me , be my boyfriend , be my best friend , be my valentine , be
mine….
-Chloeee – Nathan was now looking to her
-I can’t loose you , I won’t let you go –Chloe looked into his eyes ,
she was biting her lips
Nathan got so surprised he never knew what to do , he just was looking
to her face , as if everything was in slow motion , Chloe without any fear
kissed Nathan , hoping he wouldn’t reject her but he didn’t , Nathan kissed
Chloe back , with tongue , the most perfect kiss they ever had , because this
time Nathan had true feelings for Chloe…
Sara looked to them and got sad , not because she liked Nathan but
because she was single , she never had a boyfriend , you know when you are
invisible for many people , no one thinks you are hot or pretty , they just
treat you as a buddy . Sara wanted a
boyfriend too so she was thinking about tell her crash how she felt and she
called Ashton….
Meanwhile at the hospital…..
After 7 hours of surgery the doctor came to us to say how the surgery
went . He never smiled this time so I heart started to beat fast
-Hey guys , well I want to tell about how Layla is now
-Ok Doctor tell us – We got up
-Well I thought the surgery would be easy and fast but wasn’t , she had
hemorrhage in her brain and we had to open it so, we cut the hair and
opened her head and made the surgery in
her brain and now we have to wait her wake up to see how she will respond to
the surgery and the new treatment that we are giving her
-So that means she will be fine? – Victor asked
-We aren’t sure , but we have to wait , she have huge chances to live
but also with sequel
-WHAT? – I said
-Yeah because when the car crashed she probably hit her back so we dont know yet what happend there - the doctor said
-oh God , ITS YOUR FAULT YOUR JERK ITS YOURS FAULT I HATE YOU I HATE YOU
SOOO MUCH ARGHHHHHHHHHH – I was screaming , my father stopped me to hit him
-Isn’t my fault gay and next time you say another thing I swear I cut
you in pieces– he said
-Please calm down boys – The doctor said
-You don’t even CAREEE YOUR WEIRDO , YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT HER WHY YOU
HERE LEAVE US ALONE , LEAVE LAYLA ALONE
-What? I like her ….- Victor said
-No you don’t , if you did you would show the love , you just worried
about yourself , I will put you in the jail – I was saying
-Go ahead I’m not scared of you - Victor gave him the look
-Enough , Adrian Lets go , come
Ashton – My father said
-No , I won’t go , I will stay here till she wake up
-She won’t wake up anytime soon Adrian , better you go home it’s pretty
late its 4:00am come back later like 1:-2:00 pm she might be awake
-I stay here Doctor – Victor said
-Ok Victor can stay
I could believe even the doctor told me to go. I was sad , I was mad , I
was stressed , I wanted to die , my heart was hurting as if someone got a knife
and started to sock my heart…My father
took me and Ashton to southland , I was really sad…I couldn’t hide the tears
We went to the hotel now , my mom was still awake waiting for us. My
father told her everything before on the phone so almost everybody knew about
what happened to Layla. When my mom saw me she said :
-Aww son – she opened her arms
-Mom….- I was crying and ran to her
-Adrian she will be fine – mom said
-No she won’t , she isnt ok , I know , the doctor face wasn’t good at all –
I said
-Adrian , doctors work all night , they don’t even sleep , he must of
being tired , you should understand son
- I understand – I said
-So Adrian go to bed go relax , tomorrow I will take you to the hospital
ok
-Ok mom thanks
I went to bed and fell asleep really fast I was dead. The next day the
doctor would give her diagnose and tell us what would happen to Layla , I hope
she be ok
The next morning , we went to eat breakfast , I wasn’t hungry but I forced
myself to eat at least toast and drink orange juice. My family was there
smiling , talking but I was there feeling dead. I saw Nathan there too in the
cafeteria area so I went to talk to him
-Hey dude
-Adrian , Ashton told me what happened , I got sad – Nathan said
-I know I’m sad too
-You think she be ok? – Nathan asked
- I don’t know I don’t know what to think right now – I was serious
-Oh – he said
-Yeah , do you want to go to the hospital with us? – I asked
-Sure I want , Ashton will too and also Chloe
-Oh ok – I said

Nathan was smiling

After a few hours
Everybody was at the hospital , My parents and I , Ashton , Nathan ,
Chloe and Sara , Layla’s parents and sisters , Victor and Victor’s dad.
The Doctor wasn’t there yet so everybody was waiting for his news. When I
saw Layla’s mom talking with Victor I thought ‘ this isn’t a good sign , why
she is talking to him , he caused all this , she should put him in jail’ .
Everybody was talking but whispering since at the hospital no one can speak
loud obviously.
Finally the doctor came and he got kinda surprised for so many people be
there to hear Layla’s prognosis which means how she will evolve during the next
couple of days…
-Wow – the doctor said – Many people that cares for Layla , that’s good
, I will try to say this in the best way possible , I don’t want anyone to
freak out but to be strong , Layla will be fine but I need to give the alert
first.
-Say doctor , we are dying here- Layla mom said
-Ok calm down miss , well Layla had a fracture of a vertebra which we
saw on the exams and sadly she lost the movements of her legs , Layla is
paraplegic
When the doctor said this almost everybody took a deep breath and said 'Oh No'
-So she can’t walk anymore? – Layla mom said
-No , not now , she will have to do more surgery’s and also treatment
with the physiotherapist
-You said she would be fine doctor , you lied to me – I said to him
-No I didn’t , but I never knew that this happened Adrian I’m sorry –
The doctor said – Now who want to go to her room to visit her can go , first
will be the parents of course then the others but I suggest you guys don’t stay
long because she need to rest
The doctor left the room and Layla’s mom started to scream and cry , she
was desperate , Victor never had any reaction , he was looking to the floor and
never changed position , I felt sad but I believed in her recuperation ,
everybody got sad.
Layla was awake , the doctor never told her about what happened to her .
Her parents went to the room to see her and talk to her …but they explained to
her what happened and gave all the details , they told her that I gave blood to
her and said Victor was ok but she keep asking about Victor , she wanted to see
him so her dad went to the room that we were , waiting to see her and then he
said :
-Victor?
-Come , Layla wanna see you – her dad smiled
-Oh really? Ok then , I go – Victor looked to me and then went to the
room
-Guys I’m sorry but Layla don’t wanna see anyone else besides , My wife
and me and also my others kids and Victor , thanks so much for coming and
helping now we will take care of her
-What? – I said
My mom touched my back and said
-Adrian , you heard the man , lets go
-Huh?why she don’t wanna see me? She wanna see him who almost killed and
not me?
-Adrian , this is part of life ,have days that we win and also have days
that we loose , its like a rule of the world
-Ok , now I will pretend Layla is dead , enough , I’m ending with this
right now , lets go
After that day I never saw Layla again and never had news about her
since I told all my friends that I wanted to forget that she exist or anything
like this so they weren’t allowed to even say her name near me. I know that was
mean , leave her like that but she left me a long time before and now I just
woke up , I opened my eyes , I was blind , I thought Layla was my life , I thought
I couldn’t leave without her , but the mistake was , I was thinking like this
but she never did….It was time to let her go
After a few weeks I found out Layla was Victor , he was living in her
house to help her in her recuperation and they were dating now. In a few days I’m
going to Canada , study another language there , its just a new start of my
life….
-Adrian , Adrian ? – Nathan said
-Yeah man – I said
-What you doing? – Nathan saw me writing in a notebook
-Nothing much , I just decided to write a book of my life – I said
-A book? Haha my idea though , I told you we should make a movie of your
life – Nathan said it
-I know right and I think I’m gonna do that , show people how life can
be hard and you always try to be positive when you have problems
-Trueee , so how you gonna call this book? – Nathan asked
-Hmm I don’t know yet but something about stalking myself you know haha –
I said
-Oh God , I hope you put me in there , I would love to tell everybody
about my life haha would be like epic
-I know man , just let me write the last sentences ok
-Ok go ahead – Nathan said
When i close my eyes
I wonder why In my life there were so many things
I never could understand You gave me the chance

To play with love together Now i can't forget
I just regret Having hurt the one and only friend

I wanna say thanks a lot for the people who keep
coming here everyday Saturday and enjoys to read the chapters , I always
dedique a long time to write things chapters , which are really hard to do it ,
I always try to tell things about my own life , things that I learned with

I go there tomorrow just to show I’m good boyfriend but like after the accident
she isn’t the same , she is just too cheesy with me but I’m like ‘argh go away I
don’t want you’ I cant even bang her dad , why be with her? That’s why I have

got her laptop and went to facebook , after a long time , and there she saw a
picture on Adrian’s profile . He took a picture of himself kissing another girl
in Canada…
Layla
started to cry thinking : ‘now I lost my soulmate….goodbye Adrian’
She
turned off the laptop.
