The next morning was Saturday and I was very happy , I was good mood , I
woke up thinking about Layla and with one decision , I would ask her to marry
me tonight , I already know how , I will take her to a fancy restaurant and pay
for someone play violin while I get down on my knees and ask her to be with me,
I want to be with her , I don’t have doubts…not about that. I got my phone to
call her and to say good morning but I
decided to make a surprise. I got my car and I went to market and I bought pure
orange juice , cheese , bread , I also bought butter , I wanted to prepare her
an amazing breakfast because now wasn’t only Layla who was eating , our baby
needs to grow and be fine.
I bought everything and put in the car. I went to Layla really excited,
I was missing her more than anything.
I parked my car and I went to her apartment. I knocked on the door and
someone opened, was her cousin , Diego
-Morning Diego – I said
-Wow good morning Adrian – he smiled – come on in
-Thanks , do you think Layla already woke up?
-Nah , I bet not haha go to her room and wake her up – Diego joked
-Noo I’m not crazy , she would kill me but I will let bread and cheese
here , you can eat if you want
-Hahaha thanks Adrian , you are the best – Diego started to like me now
-Ok I will go to her room and watch her sleep ok?
-Aw romantic kid , alright have fun – He said
-Thanks – I said
I was excited ,I couldn’t wait till I see her. I opened her room door
and everything was dark , so I opened a little the window and then was when I
saw the most awful scene….
-WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE? – I screamed
Victor was laid on her bed hugging her and he was sleeping there with my
Layla…….wow , I got really really really mad
-What? – Layla woke up and so did Victor
When he saw me , he never looked shocked or surprised , nooo , he smiled
to me and I had to hold myself to not hang him
Layla looked behind and saw Victor there
-Layla this guy ran of the prison and now is here in your bed? I don’t
get it what’s going on here….- I was confused
-Adrian….oh my God , Victor what you done? – she said mad
-Nothing , I just fell asleep here sorry – he said
-What? YOU YOU YOUR BASTARD WHAT YOU DOING HERE – Diego heard my screams
-Shut up Adrian , I already said what happened – Victor said
-BUT BUT YOU WERE IN JAAAAAIL- I was desperate
-Yes and now I’m free and I’m living here , deal with- he said
-Layla you never told me on the phone that you were with Victor here,

Diego came running to the room
-What’s going on here?
-Nothing Diego , Adrian is just in a bad mood
-Bad mood? He bought a breakfast for you…..- Diego said and Layla
started to feel bad
-Victor get out – Layla said
-Ok I’m sorry , I never did anything with your girlfriend Adrian
-GET OUT – Layla said again
I sat on Layla’s bed , I couldn’t believe it , everything happened too
fast , I came in her room and there was Victor hugging her, I felt cheated
-Adrian , I don’t know what happened , I slept and I think he came here
and laid next to me
-Oh do you think I’m fool? You think I will believe that? That’s lies ,
I bet you guys slept together
-What? – Layla couldn’t believe
-Yeah…you want him back right? You don’t like me anymore Layla and your
pregnant for God sake– I said
-Shhhhhhhh Diego can’t know about that- she said
-Whatever , you cheated on me and you don’t deny it – I said
-You soo stupid Adrian , grow up , why would I be with Victor when he
tried to kill you?
-Then let’s go? You guys can’t sleep in the same house , is dangerous
-Shut up – Layla said and she slapped me – Don’t tell me what to do
-Ahhh fine….. DO WHAT YOU WANT , I won’t stay here anymore , if you want
you can be with Victor , I don’t give a damn anymore- I said
-Ok sure ….now get out!! - She said to make me mad
-You sooo rude – I said
-Get out…..- she turned around
-You know what….. I’m breaking up…..- I said
-What? – Layla said
-I’m breaking up with you Layla…
-Adrian...why....you come here judging me without knowing anything and
now you wanna break up? – she asked
-Yes...you and Victor can have fun , i'm off - i closed the doctor and
walked away
Diego saw me and shouted
-Adrian! – he said – are you ok?
-Dude ….i need to breath sorry…- I was trying to hold the tears , I
never wanted to Diego see me crying
-Oh ok byee- he said
When I went to elevator I started to cry…..so much , my chest was
hurting. I did cried for Layla many times , for being confused , for missing
her , but now no , I saw her on bed with my enemy ,I couldn’t believe and to be
honest I can’t admit it, I gave love , I supported her , ahhh seriously , why
me? I wanted to die , it seems silly and stupid like what’s the point of
suffering soo much over someone who cheats on you? There ‘s no point and the worst part is , Layla is pregnant and I just
broke up with her.
Layla was my life , but I can’t cope with this anymore , for the first
time I thought ‘ Its over’
I was walking back to my car i was so mad i decided to punch the walls, i
never felt this way before was kinda crazy i could feel my hand shaking i tried
to calm down but was too hard, i got my phone and called my mam
-Mam?- i said
-Oh Hi Son - she said
-I’m coming to see you i
need to talk so don’t go anywhere- i said
-Son? What’s wrong?
-Mam, I tell you later – I
said
-Ok son , I will wait for
you
-Ok I think I be there in
40 minutes , Bye mom – I said
-Bye Adrian.
You probably will agree with me , mothers are the best persons in the
world that can actually make us feel better. When I heard my mom voice made me
want to cry as a little baby , I feel protected when I’m with her .
Back in the flat, Layla was in bed and she started to cry , because
everything was too dramatic and she never wanted this to happen. Diego came in
-Hey Layla i made you breakfast- he smiled. Layla tried to hide she was
crying and put the cover over her head
-I don’t want thanks- she said
-Well i will leave here I’m going out now to work - He kissed her
forehead and went
Layla never ate, she keep crying and touching her tummy , she felt alone
like she never wanted to be a single mom and it seems that was going to
happen. Layla got her phone and called me but i ignored i was in the car
.I put the sound really loud and drove to my mom .I was soo angry that i think
was a miracle i never hit the car
I couldn’t stop thinking about that scene, Victor laid next to Layla and
hugging her ARGH…..i wanted to scream till I faint….
After a couple of hours i was at my mom, i opened the door and came in
she was cooking the dinner
-Adrian- my mom said
-Mom , just hug me please? - i hugged her tight
-Son what has happened???- she hugged me tight
-I don’t know mam what is happening- i started to cry
Meanwhile
Layla was still in bed she totally never knew what to do , what is life,
what will happen, she was kinda stressing and her tummy started to hurt then Victor
came in her room
-Layla!!!!- he said
-What Victor? You planned this? you told him to come?- she said
-No of course not i never meant to sleep here my back was hurting on
sofa so i thought I’d lay here but then i slept- he looked down
-Oh well it doesn’t matter now-Layla said but she started to feel sick
Meanwhile
Me and my mam sat down in living room and she brought me sprite
-So son tell me what happened- she said
-Mam Layla slept with Victor last night- i said
-What? Oh my God - my mom said - explain that to me
-i decided to ask her to marry me tonight , so i would go out with her ,
spend time with her and then ask her to marry me because of the baby- my mom
rolled eyes
-Hmmmm i see
-Yeah but when i came in her room , Victor was in her bed , sleeping
with her
-WOW DEAR GOD - she said
-Yeah mom , how dare she? i can’t believe it – I was crying loud with no
shame at all of cry infront of her- like
I don’t how how Victor ran away from jail but he said he is free now , i think
is really weird and now he is with Layla mom – I was screaming- WHY MOM? WHYYY?
– I put my head on her lap and she touched my hair
-Adrian , leave Layla alone?
-Why mom? - i said crying – Why she is doing this to me? Why? Noo I can’t
believe Mom , she was everything I had and now I lost her ….
-Clearly she doesn’t love you ...- was the first time my mom said
that to me
and i think she was right , that time , i was hating Layla so much.
-Well mam i don’t know if i want this kid, will ruin uni- i said
-I know it will son- she looked down -you are smart you could be a
doctor but having kid i don’t know you will soon give up-
-Yeah i agree, and i would give up my future for a girl who sleeps with
a guy who tried to kill me-
-Exactly son- my mam said she hugged me again
Meanwhile
Layla went out of bed to get some water cause she was feeling more sick,
when she was getting Victor was there
-Damn Layla you ok?- he asked
-Yeah I’m fine why?-
-Cause you kinda look dead...grey- he said worried
-Uh well i don’t know- she said
-Look I’m sorry about everything …..i feel that is my fault – Victor
said
-Nah , Adrian overreacted I might call him tomorrow when he be more calm
, I just can’t loose him you know , he is my everything and now he hates me
-Layla ,don’t say that
-God , I can’t loose Adrian , I just can’t ….- Layla started to cry and
breath fast
-Layla calm down
-I can’t , arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh – Layla touched her tummy and did pain
face
-Layla? – Victor noticed something was wrong
Layla ran to the bathroom , she was feeling awful. She looked down and
she felt something wet down her legs and
thenwhen she looked to see what happened , she noticed , Layla was bleeding ,
she started to scream and Victor came in the bathroom and saw the blood
Layla fainted , Victor touched her face and said:
-LAYLA? LAYLA? MENDEEES - He shouted , he needed help. Mendes wasn’t at
home
Victor got really scared , and he called 911
-HELLO PLEASE I NEED AN AMBULANCE…..
Meanwhileee
-Mom , i will say to Layla abort , i don’t want this kid now ,and now there’s
no point anyways we won’t be together
-I know son- she touched my hair
-I spent soo many years liking her and now she do that to meee , i hate
it - i said
-Adrian , maybe you being too radical uh?
-Kinda but i really don’t care anymore , i feel that she doesn’t care about
me so i don’t care- i said
-Yeah you need to rest Adrian , tonight you can stay here-she said
-Thanks mom – I went to my room , I need to rest

The ambulance came to get Layla and the doctor was asking Victor
questions
-Can you tell me what happened- he asked
-I don’t know she scream so i ran here, and she fainted oh my God will
she die?-
-No just be calm my team will help her-
Victor couldn’t think straight but he knew it would be mean to not let me
know about this but if he used Layla phone to call i wouldn’t answer so victor
got Layla phone and called Nathan
-Heyyy Layla what’s up- Nathan
sang
-Dude tell Adrian Layla is
in hospital- Victor said
-Uh who is this? i know
this voice-

important, just tell him- Victor said
and put phone down
Nathan was at Lily and said:
-Wow Layla is at hospital again – Nathan said
-Oh my God , but she being at hospital yesterday and now she is again?
-Yep i need to call Adrian- Nathan said
Nathan called me and i picked up

busy - i lied , I wanted to be alone

-Layla....Layla is at
hospital again , Lily and i will go there- he said breathing fast
-Damn - i started to get
nervous again and sweaty , how come Layla was at the hospital??? I cared , I
got nervous but I tried to be cold
-So? - i said

wifeeee idiot – Nathan got mad at me - come here , she is at the same hospital
-I'm at my mom and i don’t
wanna see Layla , i got to go bye Nathan
-What? what the hell is
happening?
i put the phone down. i was really really annoyed but i couldn’t
help , what happened to her? And the
baby? God , I got so worried , I couldn’t leave her but if I go there I bet
Victor will be there too , I can’t take it….i was confused, I’m sure Nathan
would let me know about what was happening
-Who was that?- my mam asked
-Oh was Nathan being annoying as always- i looked out the windows
i really didn’t know what to do

Layla was in ambulance with Victor
but she was still unconscious
-Whats happening?- Victor said
-Well i think layla is ok it’s just the baby I’m worried about-
-Baby?- Victor said shocked
-Yeah son you didn’t know?- he said -bit obvious by her tummy-
-Oh my God- victor said
-Uh well you be a dad uh-
-What ?? no she isn’t my girlfriend- he said
-Ops- the doctor started to work again
When Layla arrived at the hospital Lily and Nathan where there waiting
Nathan saw Victor there
-Ohhhh Dear…. what did you do to her?- Nathan screamed
-What? i did nothing if i did something it was saving her- he said
-How? what you doing here your killer? - Nathan said. Lily got scared
and she was holding Nathan’s hand tight
-I’m not a killer damn , and i took Layla to the hospital because she
was bleeding too much and the doctor said she is pregnant , I’m shocked ,the
nerd made her pregnant?
-Shut up , i don’t wanna talk to you - Nathan walked away
Victor felt bullied , no one would respect him anymore, after everything
he did
so the doctors went to see Layla, she woke up and they talked to her
they did scan and said:
-Hmmm I don’t know if the baby heart is still beating Layla – the doctor
said
-Oh God....- Layla said
-Hmm , come on baby , show me that you still alive uh – the doctor said
while doing the scan
Meanwhileee
i was in my room now , watching TV and i felt guilty because how come i
was there watching TV while Layla was at hospital sick? i got my phone and
called nathan
-Dude what is happening there- i said fast
-Well Adrian like you should be here with her, she bleed baby is in
trouble-once he said this my heart to fall to my feet i got all cold but sweaty
Meanwhile back in the hospital in the waiting room, Nathan and Lily
where sat on the chairs at once side of the room and Victor the other side, Nathan
kept on giving him evil looks
-Nathan to be honest if Victor wanted to kill or hurt Layla he wouldn’t
of brought her to hospital would he- she said
-Mmmm good point i wonder if Adrian knows about this-he said
-Well i hope not-
Meanwhile in the room while doctors where scanning for ages
Layla started to cry -go get me Adrian now- she shouted at them and
cried more

I was talking to my mom again
-Mom , i don’t know i think i will come back home - i said
-Why son? She asked
-I don’t know , i think i will soo i will you call when i bet at home
-Ahh ok son , have fun - she said
-Alright bye mom
I got my car and drove to the hospital

The doctor finished the scan, well Layla i will tell you to wait here
while i show the scan to my mate something is wrong , i think you had abort, Layla
started to cry a lot desperate ……One of the nurses told Victor to come in the
room because Layla was really shocked and he did.
-Victor....- she said
-Yeah?- he said
-Why you here- she said trying to wipe tears
-I brought you here- he said and came closer to her
-Oh- she said and cried more
-Look everything will be ok- Victor said trying to be nice -i got
shocked when i heard you were pregnant-
-Well i might not be anymore, is Adrian here??-
-No i called Nathan of your phone to tell him to call Adrian, Nathan is
here with a girl but not Adrian-
-Oh, well he obviously doesn’t care- Layla looked up
-He is mad don’t blame him, it
all my fault- Victor said acting all innocent
The doctors came back in the room with a sad face
-OH GOD- Layla said
-Layla I’m really sorry……..- the doctor couldn’t finish and Layla cried
more -We couldn’t find a heartbeat...
Layla couldn’t even talk she was so upset
Victor held her hand and started to touch her hair but Layla wanted to
see me,I was on the road and my heart started to hurt, I was worried about the
baby
I regretted of being soo rude , i shouldn’t of screamed at her and fight…
Now i was finally at the hospital and i ran. i tried to ask for information’s
about her an nurse saw me talking about a her and said
-Are you searching for Layla? that girl from yesterday , you are her
boyfriend
-Yeah yeah that’s me where she is? - i asked
-Well is in the room now taking a rest , if you want to see her you can
follow me
-Ok - i said - i was kinda dizzy , was like i was going to faint , i was
too nervous
then when she opened the door of Layla room i saw him again
Victor was there holding her hand and looking at her as if he was her
boyfriend or something
-Hello - i said
-Adrian , oh my God, Adrian come
here - Layla said i was too cold towards her and i ignored Victor was there
-Hi are you ok? - i asked
-Well I’m ok but....our baby - Layla couldn’t say
-What happened? - i held her hand
-i lost the baby Adrian - she put her head on my chest and started to
cry really loud. I hugged her and i couldn’t help , i cried too
I started to think about things that i said to my mam and now i totally
regretted
maybe karma did this or something magic i don’t know but at this moment
i blamed myself , Layla looked heartbroken, she never stopped crying i could
feel her tears going through my shirt. While Layla was hugging me i looked to
victor in an evil way Victor looked back and me and raised his eyebrow
-Layla I’m sorry i don’t know what to say- i said
-Mmmm-
-Victor did this?- i asked without even thinking
-ARGHGH- Victor said he was getting mad
-What ?no Adrian he saved me he brought me here- Layla said wiping her
tears
-Mmmm maybe you loosing baby was a sign- i said
-What?- Layla said and frowned
-Well wasn’t meant to be...-
-No , isn’t a sign - she said
-Well....we need to talk in private - i looked at Victor and said - why
you have to stay here? can you excuse us?
-I’m here because if Layla needs anything I’m here already - he said
-Yeah but i need to talk to her so can you go ?
-Ok - he left
i looked at Layla and she was pale
-You lost too much blood uh?
-i did , was soo scary , I’m so sad like was our baby , i already loved
him - she said
-Me too , well now we need to know why he died or she of course , I’m
scared like i don’t get why you would loose the baby- i was confused
-Well doesn’t matter now , I’m glad you here
-Same - i hugged her
Meawhileee Victor went to get a coffee and Nathan saw decided to talk to
him
-Listen I know Adrian wont thank you but i will , thanks for bringing Layla
here - he said
-You welcome , i just did what i thought was right - victor said
-Yeah but back off , we don’t need you and your dramas , leave Layla
alone - Nathan said
-Dude , she isn’t a kid , she can choose her friends now , i wont back
off- victor said
-Alright then....- Nathan walked away thinking about kill Victor , he
was really mad. Victor went to go sit alone and wait
-Oh my God, i will kill him- Nathan said to Lily
-Uh why he seems okay- lily said
-Oh Lily your so brainless that guy is the devil honest- he stared at Victor
-today isn’t going to be a good day-
Meanwhile i was sat in room with Layla and was kinda awkward
-Adrian you don’t seem upset- she said

-Oh- Layla looked down -well i never slept with victor-
-God Layla i wasn’t born yesterday i only came here to see if baby was
ok- i stood up
-Why you getting mad why you don’t believe me- Layla started to cry
-Aghhhhh it’s just…..- i shouted . Then the doctors came in
-Excuse us but Layla we have to take you to operate we need
to get the baby out of you-
-Ok….Adrian can we finish this convo later?
-Yeah Layla God may be with you-
I kissed her forehead and left the room.
Layla went with doctors, i was so mad i was walking around in circles, i
went to sit in waiting room with Nathan and i saw victor sat there and he
smiled at me again
-Nathan honest i will hit him- i said
-Calm down if you do that here will be really uncool , so try to calm
down , think about the baby - he said
-There’s no more baby - i said
-What?
-Layla lost the baby , because of this shit of guy who is sat there - i
said shaking
-OMGGGGGGG - NATHAN got shocked and so did Lily
-Adrian , i need to see her , where she is?- Lily asked
-I don’t know , doctors is like taking off the rest of the baby ,is
really sad - i said
-Dude , I’m sorry - Nathan hugged me tight and Lily hugged us
-i wil go home , i think i did enough - He said
-Well - i said - thanks for taking her to the hospital but look , if you
touch her to hurt her i swear i kill you , i can die in jail , i can stay there
for the rest of my life but i kill you

-No , I’m just saying - i stared him
-Ok , but don’t worry , you won’t go to jail , i won’t touch her , why
would i honestly? I’m a new man i changed - he said

Lily keep looking at him, Victor walked away and when Nathan and lily
was talking to me, i couldn’t pay attention, i started to get mad and i shouted
-Hey Victor - i ran to him
-Yeah? - he turned around
-You forgot something - i punched him in the eye
Victor looked up to me and i was expecting him to hit me twice as hard
-Layla are you ok?- he said
-uh?- i said and turned around. Layla was standing behind me
-Adrian? why did you just do that?-
-Do what?- i said and i thought ‘damn I’m in trouble’
-Punched Victor like seriously what is your problem? It’s a good thing
to make peace with him i didn’t want fights and i thought Victor would be the
problem but it isn’t it’s you- Layla said and kinda punched me
-Ooooo so now your protecting him, look now you haven’t got my kid you
can be with him-
-Your kid? you didn’t even want our kid and don’t deny your to selfish
to have kid you wouldn’t stop uni for it- Layla shouted
-i got a E, I’m failing uni cause of you-
-And my body is bad because of you- Layla said -i don’t wanna see you

i ran after them , Victor was with her arm around her and i couldn’t
admit that and i wouldn’t admit, so i said

treated you bad , who wanted to kill you , who actually tried to kill me and he
actually kidnapped me
-So? he was there when i lost the baby and YOU weren’t – she said
-I WASN’T HERE , I WAS AT MY MOTHERS HOUSE - I Was screaming
-Don’t scream at her - victor said
-Oh and what will you do victor- i shouted
-Well you know what I’m capable off- he wanted to get closer to me but Layla
stopped
-Just leave him- Layla said
-Nahh come on Victor i bet your scared to fight me now uh- i laughed
-why would i fight with you when I’m going home with Layla- he laughed
i swear when i heard this i wanted to throw him on the road, i was about
to go hit him again but Nathan ran to me and grabbed my arm
-Victor i swear i will hurt you- i screamed
-Go on then Adrian I’m right here hurt me- he said. Layla started to
walk off and left us to fight alone
-Adrian stop just leave him, you will get hurt- Nathan said
-Nahhh i will make him mad- i said and moved my arm away
-No stop lets go home-

i screamed
-Wow- Nathan left got and walked away from me
Now was me and Victor standing there Victor looked over his shoulder and
said

-You know what? you want her? can have her - i said
-Haha you giving up? got scared pal?
-No , i just realised you both deserve eachother , I’m off - i walked
away
Victor went after Layla and said :
-I’m sorry about that , i tried to not hit him was hard he got me
annoyed
-Victor take me home please?- Layla said
-Ok baby don’t worry i will
-Don’t call me baby , today was the worst day of my life

i went after Nathan
-Dude I’m sorry i was mean

Now i realised Nathan was my best and only friend ; the only person that
will keep me
-Lets go home Adrian- Nathan said -play video games like the old times
when we didn’t know what love was, when we never even spoke to a girl- he
laughed and so did i
-i don’t know, my Layla is gone with my enemy-
-Adrian, Layla loves you i bet she will be back honest you know what she
is like her hormones are all over the place and shes always moody-
-Yeah true- i said -i hope she is back i just wanna say sorry-Nathan put

Meanwhile
Layla and Victor were getting a taxi home and it was really awkward. Victor
was quiet and so did Layla, she was looking to the sky, thinking about the
plans that she done about me and the baby and now we wouldn’t be a family
anymore
Victor helped Layla to walk, she came home and went to her bedroom
-Want me to stay there with you?
-No , no , because of you sleeping there i lost Adrian , i just wanna be
alone
-Ok sorry - he went to the kitchen and Layla went to her room
She was crying soo much , Layla was sad because now she lost everything
she didn’t have plans for her life what she would do now? work? study? she
never wanted to live with Diego forever
Me and Nathan and Lily were finally home, for some reason the place looked
darker and i felt miserable, i sat on the sofa i couldn’t get it out of my mind
that Layla was with Victor right now. Nathan came down stairs with his x-box
-So tonight we will play online against geeks- i kinda laughed
-To prove them we are the geekest of the geeks and no one can beat us we
are a team-
-Go team- i said and smiled

Layla were watching TV but she was too bored so she went to the living
room to talk to Victor

was together with Victor , since many years , she being supporting him through
everything , she always help him but it seems that Victor don’t like Chloe as
she likes him. He got off jail and never told her , he never called her. Chloe
disappointed to know that her boyfriend was free and with someone else….
In
other side of the night club , I was holding my drink and I decided to dance
alone.I don’t know how to dance but I think the drink made me be less shy , I
was moving my head , my body , moving my feet , making my own dance but I never
cared , I deserved , I spent 2 months studying like a camel , now is time to
enjoy life…. I found Nathan dancing just like Justin Green , same dance as his
music

and I left the bathroom ,we were distracted and then I bumped a girl who was
leaving the woman’s bathroom , the girl fell on floor

I realized who it was

I got froze and I started to breath fast

2 months that I don’t see Layla , since when we found out about the baby , I
never saw her again , but today I saw her again , was like a movie in my head ,
I started to remember about what happened to us

couldn’t help , I missed her voice , her perfume , I missed Layla more than
anything , I was trying to live without her but wasn’t working. I could lie to
everyone and say that I was fine , I could smile and show my teeth so no one
would bug me and ask ‘ are you ok Adrian?’ , the only person who knew that I
was destroyed was my mother and no one else.
I
hugged Layla for a couple of seconds and I said

we should come back to the club- I said and I turned around but Layla said

happened too fast , when I noticed , Layla was putting her lips on my lips , we
started to kiss. I don’t know explain because I never kissed many girls but
somehow Layla kiss was the most sweet and amazing kiss ever , its like we were
made for eachother , we fit …..but then she stopped and she was really close to
me and she said

– I held her hand and now our fingers were intertwined

love you – I started to kiss her again and this time was softly and slowly

kissed with tongue , the best kiss.

then we stopped kissing and I smiled
